Yay! Who's ready for long tiresome paragraphs and long winded replies that will close in on 500??

On a serious note speed equalized unless unnecessary, Church of Masks Arc Han vs Post-Life in the Royal Capital Arc Rimuru.

Han Jee-Ha: 0

Rimuru Tempest (Web Novel): 0

Inconclusive: 0

BlackHan
Rimuru Tempest Main

So this is what Rimuru can do in this key, what can Han do against these?

Useful abilities:

- Absorption (instant btw)

- Can increase his thought and speed by 1000 times

- multi-layer barriers

- 360 vision that spans in kilometers In addition, Rimuru is able to observe how waves disturb the nearby magical energy, then use that information to calculate the visual, auditory and other wave-based information of the surroundings.

Resistance: Resistance to: Physical Attacks, Death Manipulation, Possession, Paralysis, Electricity Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Poisons, Corrosion Inducement, Pain Manipulation,

-Information Manipulation (Magic Senses overloads the brain with so much information it would have killed a normal human, but can be used casually),

- Data Manipulation(The information from Magic Sense is turned into data, which overloads the human brain, but can be used casually)

- Law Manipulation (Can resist the effect of Holy Barrier which affects the laws of the world),

- Memory Manipulation (Individuals surpassing A rank have high resistances, and their memories are protected by their soul),

- Soul Manipulation and Mind Manipulation - On a scale of 350000

Church of masks Han, huh?

Well, he has:

  • Several amps
    • Accelerate Time (By 20, works as a speed amp)
    • Accelerate thought speed (By 5, stacks with time amp, so by 100 in total)
    • Magic amp: Amplifies magic power by 2, his staff does the same by 4.
    • Physical amps, though these don't matter much.
  • Summon Golems (First key) and Noim, plus her other elemental equivalents (fire, water and air).
    • The golems can make a barrier that nullifies all magic, and negates resistance (Han included). It also nullifies flight and teleport action, regardless of them being magical or not.
    • The golems can slow the time of the enemy by 50%, reducing their speed by half.
    • The elementals can manipulate their own element, creating and moving it at will. They are made out of said element, and the earth one can control several tens of thousands worth of kilograms.
  • Homing attacks, in the form of light speed, lightning arrows. He can also use mana arrows, which are automatically created non-stop regardless of his awerness of it.
  • Nullify magic by summoning mana ropes around others.
  • Has infinite stamina
  • Can create, escape or destroy pocket realities
    • When destroying, he can limit the destruction to just enough to break out of somewhere, or to just destroy obstacles.
  • Planetary mindhax enforced by fate if anyone tries to enter his mind.
  • Has healing that can remove status effects, which are pretty much any passive, long lasting effect, from dismemberment to an unbreakable oath.
  • Can powers teal from an incapacitated opponent, even if their "ability" is something fundamental like intelligence, material arts or an ability born out of their soul.
  • Can become invisible and hide all traces of him (energy included) or create after images that replicate said energies (mana, heat, sound, etc.)
He resists nearly all forms of mental manipulations, all wounds he receives fade away and are only represented as HP damage, resist power nullification, qand his powers are gained through a blessing and can't be really copied.

He prefers to send out golems, stick back and observe, and hide behind range spam and barriers.

Oh, also, his mana let's him negate most forms of intangibility, and let's him kill enemies that would normally simply regenerate (such as golems like his own).

That should hardly be a problem at all.

Han would probably get a resistance passive, the damage would still be in HP only, and even if it outdoes his Regenerationn he can just heal once or twice every minute.

Milly Rocking Bandit said:
And he gets past his absorption how? Because he starts with that.
How long is the absorption range?

Han tends to keep a few dozen emeters of distance, with several layers of barriers, away from enemies.

He has infinite stamina too.

Predator

Predation:
Absorbs the target into his body, absorbing all organic matter, inorganic matter, skills, and magic they may have on their person. However, the success rate sharply drops if the target is conscious.

Food Chain: The ability to acquire all the skills of his subordinates. Additionally, Rimuru can convert the skills he gained from his subordinates into energy to strengthen himself.

Supply: Whether a subordinate or not, Rimuru can grant an ability unto a monster with whom he has a relationship with.

Gluttony

Decay:
The ability to decompose the target and also add a decomposition status effect. There is a chance of acquiring a random ability after consuming only a part of a monster's corpse.

Battle Mode: Ciel can control Rimuru's body and enter Battle Mode.

Cloning: Rimuru can create a clone of himself that can operate within a kilometer of the original.

All of Creation: An ability that allows Rimuru to comprehend any non-concealed phenomenon. In addition, it improves his analytical abilities to the point that it is nearly impossible for him to analyze his surroundings incorrectly and eliminating the risks of his analysis backfiring on him. Parallel Processing: An ability to detach thoughts and analyze multiple simultaneously without time lag. Chant Annulment: Due to this ability, Rimuru does not need to chant to cast magic. Analysis and Judgment: This ability improves Rimuru's capacity to analyze and make judgments regarding a target.

Great Sage

Thought Acceleration:
This ability raises the rate at which Rimuru can process his thoughts a thousand times.

Isolation: Rimuru can isolate any harmful or unnecessary materials so that they will not harm him while absorbed into his body.

Mimicry: Rimuru can replicate the appearance of anyone he has absorbed, as well as their skills and abilities while taking up their form. However, the latter is dependent on how much information he had on his absorbing target and his success at analyzing their abilities.

Stomach: Rimuru can store absorbed items and targets within himself indefinitely.

Analysis: The absorbed target is studied and analyzed in order to create items from their materials. With enough materials, Rimuru can produce a duplicate of the absorbed target as an ally. If he successfully analyzes their skills or magic, he can begin to use them as his own.

That's not instant. It shoots out slime that envelops the target. That wouldn't nullify barriers, and regardless Han can teleport.

The speed advantage gotten through speed amps also makes that working really iffy.

It's suppose to be instant, the anime made it look like that for aesthetic (You know One Piece has this issue against speed in the anime portrayal) but like Milly said it has only like 10 meter range. Oh yeah that will nullify barriers because it's the same thing the devoured Veldora including the Infinite Prison trapping him in Infinite Space.

Oh yeah this is how Mind accelerate work in slime, but this version has times 1,000 amp

I could use Mind Accelerate to speed up my brain a million times until it felt like time stopped. I could even cast spells in that state, making it look like I could just think of a magic spell to set it off.

Kneading together a big ball of magic was a terribly inefficient use of my time, so I didn't opt for that here. Unlike a full spell, which could be conceived and cast through one's will (or knowledge, in other words), controlling one's aura always led to a time lag. Of course, I could handle that because I had Cast Cancel and All of Creation. No matter how long and intricate a spell was, living life a million times slower than normal made it simple. One second, after all, now felt like two hundred and seventy-seven hours. Even the fanciest of spells could be pulled off in less than a day, so that meant I could trigger them in less than a tenth of a second. With regular magic, it was simple for me to set off multiples at the same time, even.

When was it shown to be instant. Not to be too disbelieving, but you just showed something that goes against it, so you would need to show something that goes for it.

Anyways, which of the abilities you listed actually matter here? Half of them are useless here, and with Predator there are still problems, such as:

Han info analyses and just nopes out of it's range.

Han is invisible, and said invisibility also get's around the slimes other abilities that would get around this (magic, vibration and heat, for one).

Han just uses his physical speed amp to just move away faster than the slime can move closer.

Danger sense kicks in and he teleports right away.

Han just escapes the stomach, resisting his mind being knocked out and being able to teleport out of just about any concealment.

Rimuru can analyze too. It's his first move, so.

Invisibility doesn't mean much to Magic Sense.

His speed amp will give him the benefit.

Rimuru has no real way around Danger Senses, unless he gets faster than he can percieve danger.

His stomach is a metaphysical space, so good luck escaping from that.

- It's instant because it parried Hinata's Melt Slash (MFTL+) mid swing before Rimuru activates Beelzebub (Same concept as Predator difference is that Belzebub is like a collection for abilities)

Beelzebub: An ultimate skill gained after unique skill Glutton consumed unique skill Merciless. It gives the following abilities:

  • Predation: Takes the target into the user's body. Lesser chance of success if the target has its own consciousness. Can be targeted on organic, inorganic and non-physical objects (e.g. spiritual life-forms like Spirits and Demons), as well as Skills, Magic and Arts and any projectile-type attacks of the aforementioned categories. Compared to it's Unique Skill counterpart it has been improved and can now reach a range of kilometers and even consume space itself.
  • Stomach: Stores the predated target. Can also store materials created via Analysis. Items stored in the user's stomach are unaffected by time. The amount of space has been enlarged compared to its Unique Skill version.
  • Mimicry: Reproduces the form and Skills of absorbed targets. Only available once the target has been Analyzed. Originally most intrinsic Skills gained from a predated species could only be used at full capacity by taking the form of said species, but Universal Shapeshift negates that issue.
  • Isolation: Stores harmful effects incapable of being analyzed, neutralizing them and breaking them down into magical force.
  • Rot: Performs Rot on the target, decomposing it if it is organic. Monster corpses partially absorbed in this manner will reward the user with part of the monster's skills. This effect is imbued into Predation.
  • Soul Consume: The ability to seize the souls of anyone begging for their lives, seeking help from the user, retreating, or running away. Once the condition is met, the soul can be seized at any time afterward across even very long distances instantly and the user gets informed about any malicious thoughts by the target immediately. The souls of the recently killed can also be seized.
  • Food Chain: Derived from Receive and Provide. An ability which allows subordinate to the user to provide their strength to back him up, and he can divert some of his strength down to them. It grants him access to the skills of those connected to him.

- Here are the useful things: Black Lightning:(Originally one of Veldora's strongest skills, it moves faster than the speed of light) Gained by linking Control Particles with the Extra Skill Dark Lightning. It grants access to Dark Lightning without needing to transform into a Tempest Starwolf. It is stronger than the normal Dark Lightning and uses less magicules due to being more concentrated and is also more easily controllable and adjustable.

Cloning: Rimuru can create a clone of himself that can operate within a kilometer of the original.

Shadow Step: The ability to move within shadows, and teleport to people and also places he had been before.

Ultrasonic Waves: Can release ultrasonic sound waves which can bewilder his enemy or cause them to faint as well as pinpoint his location and that of others.

Multilayer Barrier: Can create a multilayer barrier, consisting of several layers each layer with one resistance effect each, so one layer could have resistance to fire, another resistance to ice etc.

Battle Mode: Ciel can control Rimuru's body and enter Battle Mode (It's like an advance version of quantum computer possessing you controlling your body which results to 100% accurate actions and 100% accurate movements

Hell Flare: A dome five meters in diameter which burns the target to nothingness with temperatures of several hundred million degrees.

Black Flame: A dark flame which can stop Regenerationn. Using this ability, Rimuru stopped the orc lord from regenerating his arm, and he had to sever the part of his arm with the flame in order to regenerate, the orc lord has also been shown regenerating after his head was severed from his body. This flame also has the resistance nullification property.

Physics Magic - "God's Wrath" (Megiddo): [An ability which creates several hundred thousand floating water droplets similar to convex lenses. These water drops refract light to cause it to converge into a single point in a makeshift mirror away while concentrating its power into a pencil-thin laser reaching temperatures of 1000┬░C. Since it relies on sunlight, this attack moves at the speed of light.

- Rimuru has info analyis too(too bad this isn't Demon lord Rimuru where he resist info analyis to a high degree)

- Rimuru has Magic Perception, good luck being invisible against him
Magic Perception: The ability to perceive the surrounding magical energy.

  • In addition, the user is able to observe how waves disturb the nearby magical energy, then use that information to calculate the visual, auditory and other wave-based information of the surroundings. Magic Sense also grants the ability to understand and express the intent of spoken words even if the language of the conversation partner is unknown.
  • Magic Perception enables users to be aware of their environment in battle even if blind or deaf and prevent a surprise attack.

- Rimuru has x1,000 speed amp which I showed to you how it works in slime verse(Demon Lord Rimuru has speed amp of x1,000,000)

- Rimuru has Danger sense too but better which is called Magic Perception/Sense

- He is not escaping the stomach(A Meta Physical space), Veldora Tempest (Web Novel) who has universal probability manipulation can't escape that.

Yeah I'm just proving that Predator is that fast and Belzebub is just a collection of skills made into Ultimate and it doesn't note that Belzebub is faster but it can affect US users and also increased range for Predator which seems to be the upgrade. For Veldora, yeah you're right, but no one's gonna escape the stomach that even Yuuki who has all the abilities escaped. It's function is still the same nothing change in his stomach for each keys

That doesn't mean Han can't analyze back. Rimuru knowing his abilities doesn't stop him from getting around Rimurus'.

Yes it does. I said so, twice. It masks magic fluctuations, making it the same for him as everywhere else, or else it would be useless. It does so with heat too.

Are you referring to Han or...

Well, the attack has to be particularly dangerous to Han, so as long as it doesn't one-shot it should be able to get around that.

What is that supposed to mean? Because it (he metaphysical part) can just mean "unfounded in reality" unless the verse specifies otherwise. I have the feeling it does, but I digress.

I don't think I'll be arguing much here, to be honest. Slime seems to be the kind of thing that you need to read to understand, and The Gamer is just inconsistent with abilities fluctuating to fit the plot.

Ngl, I never was able to buy into anything regarding The Gamer, which includes the thread vs Rayquaza in particular. According to the profile, Han has so many hax and stuff to go to, but the abilities themselves don't seem clarified enough, and like Risci said, they're quite inconsistent....not so much to call it PIS, but more so due to lack of consistency.

It's mostly due to it having a solid in verse system that is hard to apply outside of the verse itself

The two tend to go in hand.

But lately, like High 7-C onwards, Han simply became a "do whatever the author wants".

There is an enemy that transforms anyone close to him to sand regardless of resistance?

Omnidirectional mindhax!

You are in a pocket dimension enforced by reality? You can now tear a hole in space and end up on a random location.

You always had a weakness that makes you unable to have a END to INT beyond 1:4 without being constantly damaged? Now you just adapt and get higher END whenever you INT goes up.

Many are even forgotten (titles? Auto-electrocuting anyone that touches you? The CHA stat? Quests?).

Tbf a lot of Light Novels are like that, but yeah Gamer has changed to pretty much that. Series of one upping and one upping now.

Also bump

So it's basically a halfbaked story about an omnipotent main protagonist?

Ok, gotcha. But if it sells, good for the author, I guess :p

Eh tbf he's still no where near as powerful as any of the top 1000 characters or more in the show. He's just stupidly fast at increasing his power over a short period of time, like legit in almost every chapter he displays a new power or ability.

Not "any" of the top 1000, he smacked down the sand guy, claimed to have thought up a way to beat follower of darkness, could beat twisted space, etc.
