Goku's Ultra Instinct Perception Speed Multipliers

  1. Goku and Vegeta only struggled with Granolah's blasts in their normal forms and only because of Granolah's "deadly" accuracy.
  2. SS Vegeta did not struggle with Granolah's blasts, nor could you reasonably determine he did based solely on a single facial expression in an action panel.
  3. Using Ultra Instinct, Goku's body evades incoming attacks before they even register in his brain.
The Ultra Instinct technique does not suddenly multiply Goku's reaction speed by fifty-plus-times, the technique simply allows Goku an instinctive degree of Analytical Prediction and then preemptively defends against incoming attacks—i.e., Aim Dodging.

I wouldn't call this simply "aim dodging" if an incomplete Ultra Instinct technique can do this.

Even ignoring the obvious outlier here, Roshi's movements were explicitly "a far cry from that technique" and simply a "similar principle", and Jiren was not yet fighting "seriously"; and Beerus was already comparable to, if not superior to all of the other Gods of Destruction.

The not serious Jiren was still fast enough to give Goku trouble during his fight prior hand in his God Forms before Roshi stepped in with his demonstration. Also do we have any evidence that Beerus is superior to every other Gods of Destruction? The Gods of Destruction was stated repeatedly in the franchise to be comparable to one and other many times even if there is a marginalized differences in stats.

For the stats:
Based on current ratings the speeds are as follows:

Goku (Granolah Arc):

Base:
14,111,455,550,000c (14.1 Trillion c)

Super Saiyan: 705,572,777,500,000c (705.57 Trillion c)

Super Saiyan 2: 1,411,145,555,000,000c (1.41 Quadrillion c)

Super Saiyan 3/Super Saiyan God: 5,644,582,220,000,000c (5.64 Quadrillion c)

Super Saiyan Blue/Ultra Instinct: 282,229,111,000,000,000c (282.2 Quadrillion c)

Wonder Woman: 52 Quintillion c

184.247 times speed gap between Ultra Instinct and Wonder Woman

9,212.37 times speed gap between her and God form

36,849.49 times speed gap between her and Super Saiyan 2

73,698.988 times speed gap between her and Super Saiyan

3,684,949.42 times speed gap between her and base Goku

So he'd need Ultra Instinct or Blue to fight at all and even then is 180X slower. One way or the other this is a steep climb for Goku.

For what is actually going on here though, this thread seems to be about an ability to be added to Goku, since that's clearly levels of instinctive action accessible without transforming.
As per Speed Equalization Rules and Assumptions, if Goku's Ultra Instinct does really increase his perception speed as a speed amplication, then any speed equalized thread involving Goku and faster opponent cannot be added unless either the speed is unequalized or Goku is originally faster than said opponent in a speed unequalized battle due to the speed amplification. That's why I didn't want to equalized the speed in my Goku vs Wonder Woman thread because I was having a hard time deciding on how his Ultra Instinct works and to prevent Goku perception blitzing Wonder Woman which is why this thread will finally answer for us for good!

Personally, I find it strange that characters with extremely inferior attributes can dodge extremely faster characters just by "dodging the target", but ok.

It's an ability, and we have a feat for measuring that ability. For a point of comparison, characters with precognition, who can literally start reacting before the thing they're reacting to happens, and who have feats of using this ability to dodge fast things, including characters who use it to dodge things that move at infinite speed, generally don't have that precog listed as part of their speed stat, instead having it listed as an ability.

So this wouldn't be a violation on Speed Equalization Rules and Assumptions if Goku's speed is equalized to a much faster opponent?

I remember awhile ago, I argue Goku gets a speed amp when he uses UI especially during the Garnolah Arc.

He literally dodges multiple of he's finger blast and dodge moves SSJ Vegeta has problems with

Abilities like instinctive reaction generally aren't restricted. You'd have to ask someone who does more versus threads.
