Goku vs. Superman and artifacts, weapons & power ups

Why is it beng said that SA Superman w/ the sword of superman in a fight against Goku is not allowed due to a no artifacts rule? I've seen a couple of users say this and it doesn't make sense. An artifact or weapon is essentially a power up that doesn't come from one's natural abilities like i.e. god ki. SA Superman received his power up via a cosmic sword and Goku received his power up via five pure-hearted saiyans. They are both power ups from outside sources so I think it is fair to include the sword in future battles without pushback. As I mentioned in another post SA Superman w/ the sword vs. Goku SSG is like 1 w/ sword vs 6, it is pretty equal when put in perspective.

ssjg became permantly part of his ki afterwards. Superman doesnt have the sword anymore.

@somebody stupid, That's fine but the point though is SA superman w/ the sword was something that happened, it was a thing. People still use Vegito in fights, it's not like he's off limits and he was a fusion character created by an artifact.

vegito himself is a person, also there is no restiction on superman with the sword, however, it only belongs to pre-crisis superman and not any other superman

Got no issue with that. My problem is with users who say the sword is unfair for SA Superman (or like armors for prime) when Goku essentially has the same thing in the form of god ki. It's not like we tell Hal Jordan to take off his ring before a fight or Black Star to sheathe Tsubaki.

The problem is the tiering, for example I'm okay with Superman Prime 1 million vs Goku, but add the sword and its a mismatch. Think of it more like how the key works with the sword as a transformation and the batlle using the "standard" variation. Also, if you're mentioning the cosmic armor, thats... not superman but thought robot. Or are you talking about something else?

I agree about the tiering but likewise isn't SSG Goku a mismatch for SA Superman (not prime one million) unless you give him the sword? I meant Superboy prime's armor. I'm one of those that tend to take Thought Robot as a superman variant. True it would probably fall under weapon or maybe an avatar (like Bijuu mode from Naruto) but that's just another example of a power up.
