That would help, yes, but this isn't something Sonic would go to right away

I suppose you can unequalize speeds to make it more fair to Sonic

Ok. Then Goku can one shot Sonic, but since Sonic is much faster, he could easily dodge Goku's attacks and try get close and attack him, only to realize this doesn't work.

Goku's ki blast can home on Sonic, but Sonic should be fast and skilled enough to dodge these attack, and once realizing AP isn't working, he can use the time break + ring time combo to turn Goku into a ring

Not as a first move, but he will use it when he realizes attacking Goku with AP won't work.

Goku has area attacks, and a bloodlusted goku most likely could nuke all of it (he has enough range), so, its not a stomp.

2) Will kill Goku instantly afterwards since Goku can survive in space, Sonic however, won't die since he can consistently survive in outer space

Ummmm this is toei Goku he can breathe in Space. Even than arguing he's only win con would also kill. I don't see how that wouldn't be stomp. Especially sense Sonic can still escape.
