Thirdly, as for the battle itself, they're really close in AP, tho Goku has the slight edge I believe. Goku is also the more skilled fighter, but Shaymin makes up for it with greater AoE attacks (Seed Flare), draining attacks (Leech Seed, passively drains the opponent's health once they're inflicted) and Stat boosting (Growth)/Reduction (Sweet Scent to dull Goku's senses, meaning he'd be much less likely to dodge). I think Shaymin would have this, but it's a close match
