Sometime after Future trunks arrival and Zamasu’s defeat, goku takes a visit to hell recruit frieza for TOP but sensing an immensely powerful ki as soon as he got there, he barely manages to avoid a ki blast from behind and faces off against a similar foe from his past

The earth born Saiyan turned and smirked at who it was. “I knew the energy as soon as I sensed who it was.”

Cell returned it. “I knew you would avoid it. A blast like that was far too obvious. Seems your fighting senses haven’t dulled since the last we’ve met.”

“I’ve gotten loads stronger since then, so don’t go underestimating me now, Cell.”

“Oh, don’t worry, Goku. I know all about those Super Saiyan God forms you achieved. I do have frieza’s cells after all.” Cell smiled as he crouched into a fighting stance as the earthborn Saiyan mimicked him.

DBS manga future trunks arc used. Goku starts in base and can go up to SSJ God. Blue and perfected blue restricted

Toei GT cell used

Speed equalized

Fight takes place in Hell

Cell has prior knowledge of God form and hakai

His immortality also means Goku can't really kill him, since an even stronger Goku couldn't
