Currently we accept Gods to have resistance to the heat of nuclear weapons as they have been stated to be no longer useful for the upcoming battles. This thread has 2 purposes.
1. To prove this does not only apply to Gods but Demons and even humans such as The Six and Bishops too.
2. To expand on who exactly is affected by this.
But the statement and general narrative are far from the only evidence. Each of the aforementioned groups has countless feats and statements further proving the validity of this interpretation.
So with all of this considered, I believe that the story makes it extremely clear the heat and radiation of nuclear weapons is a non-factor for gods, demons, and humans on the level of The Six/Bishops.
And that's about all I can think of for now. Honestly this has been rotting in my draft sandbox for few months but since I'm planning to finish Ilpyo the fire merchants profile next I believe it's about time I posted it.
Oh also Merrry Christmas / Happy Holidays. I know it's not 24th/25th yet but let's be honest, we all know the thread won't get enough traction to conclude in 2 days

Why should this be a general statement rather than God specific:
We can easily infer that Mujin warned the president of USA about the upcoming fight against Nox which lead to a God being summoned. However Gods are actually far from the only enemy in question. The primary enemies are Nox - the group that effectively works for the Gods, and then the Gods themselves. Furthermore, while Demons are a seperate race, Mujin considers Demons such as Mori to be no different from "Gods" as well and considers them as big of a threat as Gods meaning the statement should obviously apply to them as well. This becomes obvious given that Mujin spends years preparing to take down both the Gods and Demons, throughout which he's literally the president of nearly the entire planet for 17 years, and yet he still never uses nuclear weapons against them. But the statement and general narrative are far from the only evidence. Each of the aforementioned groups has countless feats and statements further proving the validity of this interpretation.
- During the very scene which calls back to Mujin stating nuclear weapons are no longer useful, we see 1 Bishop and 1 The Six member get hit by over 500 nuclear bombs as well as 1 super-nuke made by combining 40+ nukes with alchemy and still have zero visible burn marks besides their clothes being lightly burned
- During the next arc, Bishop Byron states he's going to explode 50x bigger than a nuclear bomb which King Uma concentrates on his body by squishing him. Despite this Byron is left with no visible burn marks still alive (tho he's kinda a panecake since Uma squashed him lol)
- Dusik, who's insecure about being the weakest member of The Six, could withstand a direct concentrated blast from a Particle Beam weapon. PBWs are designed to overheat the target and could reach up to 4 trillion degrees celsius, with the beam hitting Dusik even generating an explosion resembling that of a nuclear weapon which was said to be strong enough to completely annihilate all of New Korea, including the sacred place several dozen meters under ground.
- While the 4 trillion is something even IRL particle accelerators could achieve while the one in GoH vastly surpasses any irl particle accelerator, that temperature was only achieved for a fraction of a moment on a miniscule scale so nobody actually scales to this value. I only mentioned it for reference to show that the PBW should absolutely have heat levels beyond a standard nuke
- In the aforementioned scene involving over 500 nuclear weapons, a Nephilim - one of the weakest Gods, is also not only directly hit but the primary target. Yet it suffers no burns from the explosion
- You may notice it's cut in half but that was actually due to the nuke ramming into it before exploding.
- King Umas hand is easily able to contain and withstand Byrons explosions with the force of 50 nuclear bombs
- Ilpyo states that even 25,000 Tzar bomba level nuclear weapons couldn't hurt Mujin who has became a God
- Mori believes Ogres bones could travel through the core of a blue giant star with enough force. The temperature of a star heavily depends on it's mass and the mass of this blue gaint is so insane it should have actually been a black hole.
- Satan and Mori are capable of withstanding the concetrated heat of the Sun's corona which while weaker than a nuke still reaches up to 40 million degress.
- Satan compares the surface of the sun to the place he grew up, which is later revealed to be the Heavenly Dumpster where only the weakest Gods live. While the Sun's surface is far less hot than a nuke this is still solid supportive evidence that even the weakest Gods have absolutely insane heat resistance
So with all of this considered, I believe that the story makes it extremely clear the heat and radiation of nuclear weapons is a non-factor for gods, demons, and humans on the level of The Six/Bishops.
Who scales to this offensively
Despite these naturally high temperatures being seemingly useless there's still a good amount of characters with special abilities capable of burning their opponents. So I'm going to draw up a small list of the primary one's who should scale to these heat levels.- Ilpyo's fire can burn straight through a Nephilim and could significantly burn Jwala.
- Ultio's black flames can burn through Yeoui
- Satans heat vision threatens Mori Jin
- Okhwang's control over the fundemental electromagnetic force can roast Mori alive
- Daewi and Ultio possess the same control over the electromagentic force directly from Okhwang
- Mujin can burn Dusik to a ashes
- Zeus can burn his own hand with his spear (Not like anyone cares about him anyway lmao)
And that's about all I can think of for now. Honestly this has been rotting in my draft sandbox for few months but since I'm planning to finish Ilpyo the fire merchants profile next I believe it's about time I posted it.
