Spike has the home field advantage, the experience and a notable AP advantage (22 vs 9 kg). Spike is also overall bigger, being the same height as Goji without the sail.

Goji has higher LS but I can still see Spike pulling off the win with the advantages he's got.

Goji is also significantly smarter.

Honestly watching the film I didn't get the vibe that Godzilla was all that smart. I mean not attacking someone who isn't attacking you isn't a human level feat, all sorts of random animals do that. I don't think intelligence will be a big factor here, anyway.

He's definitely not Animalistic considering his deduction abilities though considering he somehow put two and two together when it came to the nuke, but I'll count your vote anyways.

This isn’t really about the fight, but how did Godzilla get higher lifting strength from lifting up his mass when he’s overall the smaller of the two here? Maybe he’s bulkier but this version of Godzilla is a bit lean so that just very confuses me.

I don't know, ask whoever made his profile/calc.

Late to this but just because something is bigger doesn't necessarily mean it's heavier. Both of their sizes and weights were found through square cube law with the difference being that Spike upscales from a normal spinosaurus while Goji downscales from his second form.

Yeah but that tells me that’s just an issue with square cubed law being used. Like I distinctly remember that’s discouraged since it can lead to incorrect results. Like perfectly shown here. They are both big lizards, there is no way the much larger one would realistically be lighter in any way. That tells me either one or both calcs are wrong.

The square cube formula math used for both is fine, Goji is simply heavier because of how heavy and dense his second form is.

How does the weight and density of a completely unrelated form (one that is like 50 times bigger) in any way determine the weight of his smaller form. I just wish it was possible to get the amount of flesh and bone that is on these two and calc that instead to get a much more realistic result. I know that likely isn’t possible but still seeing a creature very clearly out massed by a large degree being heavier because of a completely unrelated version of himself does annoy me a lot. Just an absolute personal pet peeve right now. So sorry for musing on it so much.

It's not unrelated, though? It's virtually the same creature with a similar enough appearance and proportions, just at different sizes. The square-cube law can and has helped us find how much one may weigh in relation to the other.

Both of these creatures already defy the square cube law by virtue of how unrealistically huge they are given their shapes, the calcs get as close as you possibly could. The other closest thing you could use to find Initial -1 Goji's weight would be something like a red kangaroo as they've got a similar posture and that'd only get Goji to like 50-60 tonnes but a 'roo isn't scaly nor anywhere near as unnatural as Godzilla so it wouldn't be too fair a comparison anyway even if that's perhaps closer to a more 'realistic' weight for it.

I get they both break it, but I meant in particular trying to find a more optimal way since square cube gets more and more inaccurate the smaller or larger something is from the reference last I checked. Which is why I have been told in the past to be discouraged from using it. Though not to derail the thread anymore either I can take this to your message wall later (or if you prefer mine).
