Introduction
Yeah, another round of changes and such, this time spread between Greek and Norse sections of the franchise.Changes
- Kratos utterly abhors harm to children[6] to the point of disengaging from a combat scenario to try and save one in danger.[7] (Added to Weaknesses section)
- Kratos's Intelligence should be upgraded to Genius. The new section would look like;
- Genius (Was the greatest general of the Spartan Empire, having never lost a battle until his fateful meeting with Alrik. While he prefers his Blades, Kratos is a master of all weapons, capable of accurately and expertly using them without conscious thought.[5] Throughout his adventures, he has solved many puzzles, mostly created by Daedalus, who built the Labyrinth of Minos, and Pathos Verdes the 3rd, who built the Temple of Pandora, being the first to ever conquer the latter after a millennium of attempts. Despite using brutal and bloody methods, Kratos is of a keen tactical mind and could accurately assess the state of Athens during its siege with a mere glance.[5] Possesses wrestling skills that he can use to take down trained soldiers even while weakened and exhausted.[12] Would eventually come to have complete knowledge and awareness of all forms of war and combat across all of time due to their rank as the God of War.[51])
- Can instinctively sense the deadly nature and power of the Spear of Destiny, knowing it to be the real danger to him.[18] Could find new vulnerabilities with every move of his opponents, accurately surmising the Rider's battle strategy and why he wouldn't use the Spear.[18] (Added to Information Analysis in his Demigod key)
- Kratos battles by feeling, sound, smell and a sense honed in battle that transcended physical hints.[19] (Added to Enhanced Senses in his Demigod key)
Additions
- The Redeemed Warrior should get basic resistance to the elemental magics of the Olympians based on their specific armors and various relics. This would apply to all keys, and extend to all powers bestowed on the warriors, as elemental resistance is a common attribute.
- Freya should have the following added to her profile;
- Perception Manipulation: Can use her Seidr magics to conceal Thor's presence from the Giants. Made her forest a blind spot to Odin and his detection.
- Stealth Mastery: Created a magical salve with which she painted a sigil that hid Kratos's presence from the Aesir.
- BFR: Used her magic to cast herself and Thor from Jotunheim and back to Asgard, with no means of returning.
- Can speak to Vanaheim itself, the land being alive in ways others are not. (Added to Psychometry)
Removals
- All of the following powers on Gaia and the Primordials' pages are already covered under Greek Godhood. They should just be removed, with whatever unique scans being added to the Magic Page.
- Size Manipulation and Shapeshifting (Able to shift size at will, much like other Primordials. Shifted herself into an island to protect Zeus from Cronos, and is able to grow to similar heights as the latter)
- Invisibility (Aside from being able to change size, shape and form, all Greek Gods can also become invisible like her fellow Olympians[8])
- Telepathy (Called out to Kratos psychically in GOW 2. Manifested and empowered Kratos through a dream while in her true form)
- Power Bestowal, Statistics Amplification and Empowerment (Empowered Kratos through said dream with the burning fires of Sparta, and in the process bestowed within him the full power of the Rage of the Titans[6]. All Greek Gods, Primordials, Titans and Olympians alike, grow stronger over the course of millenia through prayers from their followers[9])
- Self-Sustenance (All Types. Much like her fellow Primordial-kind and her Titan Children and Olympian Grandchildren, she too has no need[4] to eat, drink, sleep[5] or breathe. Hid underwater disguised as an island for several years to protect Zeus from his father Cronos' prying eyes until Zeus grew to adulthood to overthrow his father[6])
- From the Primordials' page.
- Self-Sustenance (All Types. The Primordials fought a great war against each other that lasted an eternity, and like their Olympian descendants, they too do not need food, drink or sleep. Uranus fought against Cronos in a battle of cosmic proportion[2])
- "(Endured blows from Kratos, although a single strike from him with the Leviathan Axe effortlessly sliced through Magni's neck[1])" That last part should be removed from the durability section of Magni's page. It's doesn't line up with what happens in the games themselves.
