Switching to inconclusive Not arguing for GioGio here but theres been times where it can be said he had maybe not direct control but some damn good influence on the animals he creates, like how he made the butterflies that were cash fly to him or the snake grab the lighter. both of which were far younger than the frog where he made the comment about not having control over it.
also Giorno in the series was for a time completely unaware of his powers entirely and only recently before Part 5 developed a stand so go fig.on that.

Josuke is still going to try and not hit the animals. If he hits one and dosn't one shot it, witch will probably be the case since he'd hit it by accident, then he heals it to heal himself and now he knows about Giorno's main gimmick. Combine that with Crazy Diamond being stronger (No clue how strong 8-C not + stand users are exactly, so I'll assume a little bit below baseline 8-C+ since JoJo Buliding+ characters are quite a bit into 8-C (In all honesty they should still be 8-C+ due to being unquantifyably weaker but that's none of my buisness)) and it all leads to Josuke winning more often than not.

The animals DON'T take damage from others. The damage is only sent back to the attacker. Luka smashed a frog, but it wasn't smashed. Only Luka's head was. If Josuke hits the animal or other creation, he cannot heal it to heal himself. That's not how it works.The Smashor said:
