Just going to give some more clarification as to why Blake takes this.
With dust-infused clones, Blake will be able to freeze Genji in place once he closes distance for attacks with Dragonblade, as well as cause him significant harm through explosive clones. While Genji can defelect Blake's ranged attacks, Blake should be entirely capable to closing in distance and taking Genji for a melee fight, which she would undoubtably win due to her semblance, aura, and overall better melee prowess.

Would he be able to deflect all of her ranged attacks though? Illia tried to deflect Blake's ice rounds and instead they froze her weapon solid.

That said, he can deflect her icicles too, and he can deflect really esoteric projectiles like false Black Holes and stuff from energy weapons.
