ff7 dissidia keys

why do ff7 characters (and presumably other ff characters i havent checked) have dissidia keys, ive never thought about it until now but i dont know of any other non-canon versions of a character that were just made keys on the canon versions profile instead of having their own profile, so is dissidia considered canon? if not why is dissidia cloud there

Dissidia actually is canon and it's pretty much the reason the big Final Fantasy Multiverse exists. And everyone from Dissidia is essentially a Post Game version of themselves that's much stronger and are rated due to having the power to fight Shinryu and Feral Chaos.

TBF, all FF characters that have appeared in Dissidia have their respective key putting them at 2-A in their profiles as well. Somewhat of an exception are the FFV and FFXIII casts that, while also having their Dissidia keys, reach 2-A in their respective games.
