Well hello there
When I first started Tournaments, I did not have any kind of gimmick reward for the winners. But since I'm into wrestling, my first Tournament just happens to be concluded shortly after 2024 European Wrestling Championships, I decided to come up with this gimmick.
Additional flavor for FCOC Tournaments in the form of medals they've collected under various Tournaments and Events with different gimmicks, and gathered under the usernames of those submitted them! They don't have to be my Tournaments specifically, any tournament can be indexed here and Medals can be awarded to its participants!
Those who participate in the Events are called Entrants, while the characters they participate with are called Challengers.
This is a Fun and Games thread that exists to list all Medal awarded Tournaments and Medal winners in all of the tournaments and their characters, also for random chats and maybe meme-posting, have fun!
Medal Awarding Method
Firstly I shall explain on how the Medals are awarded. There are 4 Medals awarded in each Tournament. 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal, and 2 Bronze Medals. Tournament winners receive a Gold medal. The loser of the finals receives a Silver medal. And two losers of the Semifinals receive a Bronze medal each. This is the case with tournaments involving 16 challengers. For smaller tournaments (namely 8-challenger), only 1 bronze medal is awarded instead of 2.
Event List
This is the list of Events where Medals were awarded.
The Leaderboard for Tournament Entrants is displayed below. It indexes the medals their challengers captured and wins in the form of scores. The rankings are primarily made by medal value. Also, each win by a challenger who also managed to capture a medal in the same event is counted as 1 score. Wins against the same opponent in Double Elimination Tournaments are counted as a single win, so 1 score is added. Challengers progressing in the Tournament due to their opponents forfeiting or being disqualified do not count as a win; thus, no score is added. In times when two Entrants have the same number of medals and scores, the Entrant who reached that value earlier will be ranked higher.
