Existing with no plot or story

I was wondering how the ability to exist without a story or plot would be classified. For context, I read a story (ironically) where the main cast was standing in a void where nothing else existed. They weren’t doing anything because they were waiting for the writer to create the story. Would existing without a plot like that grant them any kind of resistance?

Wait they can be effected by the writer's plot manip? If yes, I think it just grants nothing or some acausality type 4.

Yeah, when the writer came back, they gave them a plot to follow. But it’s worth noting that one of the characters requested a change to an aspect of his character, specifically, the nature of his power source. However, when it later came time to use that new source, it didn’t work, even though the change was made by the writer.

Resistance then? Actually maybe a plot manip that's focused on power modification resistance.

I mean, we have Negation Immunity, like Sans is implied to maniipulate Flowey soul, even though he lacks a soul, so yeah
