Emperor's Rule: Ryuga (Beyblade) vs Frieza (Dragon Ball)

It's my most wanted vs fight so let's give it a go.

Metal Fury Ryuga vs Broly Saga Golden Frieza, speed equalized. Who truly reigns supreme, the Emperor of the Universe or the Dragon Emperor?

Ryuga: 5 (Garchomp777, Havok, ProfessorKukui4Life, Cropfist, Milly_Rocking_Bandit)

Frieza: 0

Incon: 0

Huh, that so?

I guess if that's the case I could switch it to full power Metal Masters Ryuga.

The Low-Godly is sort of connected to the Bey Spirit, which in turn is connected to the Bey itself, which can be physically broken as has been seen many times in the series.

The only actual time a Bey came back after being destroyed iirc is Pegasus after S1, which might not be combat applicable

Why that's bad low godly. Ok how does the absorption work?

The longer L-Drago battles another opponent, the more power he steals from the opponent, as long as it's power fueled by negative emotions.

Which makes it particularly useful against Frieza for obvious reasons.

Base off that and the fact Frieza doesn't finish off he's enemies and he would only be getting more annoyed I'm voting Ryuga. As he would just be getting stronger fighting Frieza

No, you were already told this during the Kyoya and Vegeta battle.

Beys in general that have actual spirit beasts have been shown to have their spirit forms and/or beys get destroyed and they can continue fighting despite that.

Especially in the finale against Nemesis. So the low/mid godly is very much combat applicable.

Yes, I've seen the Beys regenerate their spirit several times.

What I haven't seen that much of is physical Beys getting completely destroyed (i.e. no piece of them remains), and then regenerating from that, outside of Pegasus in S1.

This is also not entirely true. While L-Drago does absorb power from people with negative emotions, this is strictly for Lightning L-Drago.

By the time of Metal Masters when Ryuga gets Meteo-L Drago, he no longer needs to absorb power like that. L-Drago made the dark power it’s own and is able to do the same thing the dark power did on its own and absorb power from anyone.

And even then, Lightning L-Drago doesn’t need someone to have negative emotions strictly in order to absorb power from them as he’s absorbed power from beys and Bladers that did not possess evil or dark intentions to grow stronger as well.

Oh okay, that's my bad then.

Still, I think for the Low-Godly to actually be useful the Beys would need to regenerate their physical form as well since, nothing really stops opponents from targeting the physical bey with their attacks.

It wouldn’t really matter since the bey would be able to continue fighting as their spiritual forms anyway instead of their bey forms.

And it’s been shown that beys can actually morph into their spirit forms too, which is another reason for the regen to apply to them.

If Beys can fight as purely their spirit/abandon their physical form entirely then that would be something else, although I don't recall any instances of that off the top of my head.

During the final battle against Nemesis. Despite the legendary blader's beys getting smashed to smithereens, their beys spirit forms were still able to battle along with Gingka and Pegasus.

Then we have Pegasus, Leone and Striker fighting as solely spirits against Hades Kerbecs and against Twisted Tempo.

And also Ryuga...pretty much all the time.

Alright.

Most of the time the spirit stuff is represented as the spirit enshrouding the Bey so, that's nice to know.

Thinking back to the context for some of these, Leone's instance still had the Bey and the Spirit alongside each other, which doesn't demonstrate the spirits fighting alone aspect.

Pegasus' is a little more accurate, seeing as his spirit was ridden on by Gingka and the Bey wasn't present in the world alongside Gingka.

The Striker and Pegasus turning from their physical form into their spirit is pretty clear cut so I concede on that point.

Overall ig the whole "physical Beys can turn into their spirit forms and their spirit forms can regenerate" aspect is enough to sell me on Low to Mid-Godly yeah.

Thanks for clarifying.

Since the Beys can turn into their spirit form and the spirit form can regenerate after total destruction.

Yeah, looks like it.

You could argue Frieza can just blow up the planet, since while L-Drago would survive it, Ryuga probably wouldn't.

I mean yeah, but Ryuga wouldn't sit still to take that. He'd have L-Drago interfere with any area busting attacks Frieza would try unleashing.

...What exactly is the wincon for frieza? Just blowing up the planet? Per SBA, they are on earth, right? That alone pretty much reduces the chances of him of blowing up the planet to zero. Unless SBA makes them not care, for some reason.

Not to mention, I highly doubt frieza is gonna destroy the entire planet just against a single dude.

He tried to blow up the planet just cuz Vegeta beat his ass.

He can breathe in space, Ryuga seemingly can't (or at least he's never gone into outer space himself)

L-Drago would survive though so does that count as Frieza's win...?

You are acting as if Ryuga is just gonna stand there and be like "Please hit me!"

From what I'm hearing in the other replies, L-Drago will pretty much interfere any time Frieza tries to destroy the planet. Not to mention that it is earth, of all places.

Hmm

Would it help if speed was unequalized?

Frieza would have more time to blow up the earth if he so chose.

Idk tbh. From what I'm seeing Ryuga is in the trillions range, while Freeza is in the quintillions range. It's gonna be a speed blitz.

Anyways, I believe this is a mismatch. In speed equalized match, the chances of Frieza winning is extremely slim that I personally believe its a stomp. In a speed unequalized match, Frieza will blitz the shit out of Ryuga, notice that he can regenerate, and might resort to destroying the planet.

Although, I still don't know how SBA works here. Will Freiza know he is in his own planet earth, or just an alternative planet? Because if the former, I don't think Frieza is gonna destroy the planet.

You guys can decide if this is a mismatch or not, imma go sleep.
