Eminence in Shadow Revisions - Part 2

This is the Volume 1 revision, focused solely on abilities. Some of the abilities already exist in the profile, while others are new additions. Some abilities lack scans and explanations, which have been addressed in this revision. I've added extra information to a few abilities and introduced several new ones. Let me know if anything needs rewording, removal, or further additions in the this revision.

Cid / Shadow

• Superhuman Physical Characteristics (With magic one can surpass the limitations of Humans[1])
• Weapon Mastery & Martial Arts (Learned everything from karate to boxing, from swordplay to mixed martial arts, before being reincarnated[1])
• Enhanced Senses (Could see magic energy with his eyes.[1] Magic can be used to increase one's vision capabilities [2])
• Analytical Prediction (Can predict his opponents movements with sheer calculation[1])
• Afterimage Creation (Shown here[3])
• Regeneration (Low; Can regenerate surface level wounds, and missing fingernails[4])
• Light Manipulation & Damage Boost (Shown here[4])
• Sound Manipulation & Explosion Manipulation (I AM ATOMIC removes all sound from the surrounding & creates a massive explosion[4])
• Transmutation & Purification (Type 2. Can cure individuals afflicted by Demon Possession also known as the Curse of Diablos. The curse also impacts the soul of the afflicted. Transformed Alpha back from a stinking pile of flesh to how she was originally[1])
• Soul Manipulation (Cid's light heals not only external wounds, but also the soul itself[5])
• Light Manipulation, Energy Manipulation and Healing (Low; Can release a downpour of light that replenishes energy, promotes magic circulation, and heals minor wound[5])
• Instinctive Action (Highly trained fighters are said to move through instinct,[6] doing things even before they can think. For example, Alexia can react without thinking, something that has become a part of her after many years of training. She can also evade attacks she isn't even aware of.[4] Rose can react before thinking and has sharpened instincts that tell her when it's the right time to attack.[6] Experienced fighters like Rex are shown to dodge attacks through pure instinct[6])
• Fear Manipulation and Pressure Points (Magic power can cause fear. Cid is capable target his opponents pressure points[2])
• Damage Reduction Magic can be used on certain body parts to reduce the damage from opponents' attacks[2])
• Size Manipulation and Body Control (Cid can reduce the size of magic particles; Cid's magic particles are below microscopic. Cid can control his body parts and play dead for some time[2])
• Marksmanship Cid is a great marksman who can snipe his opponents from far away without missing[2])
• Resistance to Fire Manipulation & Heat Manipulation (Magic can protect users from fire and heat. Slime Body Suit was unaffected by the Fire[6])

Alpha

• Analytical Prediction (Alpha's analytic prediction skills allow her to anticipate and counter Grease's attacks with precision. She remains calm, calculates his moves, and lands non-fatal strikes to wear him down[3])
• Information Analysis (Alpha can analyze information of others by interpreting the changes in wave frequency[3])
• Transmutation & Purification (Type 2. Just like Cid, Alpha can cure individuals afflicted by Demon Possession, also known as the Curse of Diablos, and transform them back to normal. Alpha transformed one of the monsters created by the Cult back to normal[4])
• Instinctive Action (Highly trained fighters are said to move through instinct,[6] doing things even before they can think. For example, Alexia can react without thinking, something that has become a part of her after many years of training. She can also evade attacks she isn't even aware of.[4] Rose can react before thinking and has sharpened instincts that tell her when it's the right time to attack.[6] Experienced fighters like Rex are shown to dodge attacks through pure instinct[6])

Alexia

• Body Control (Magic can be used to loosen up muscles[7])
• Weapon Mastery (Alexia is in section one of the Bushin arts, which has nine different sections, with fifty students in each, divided up by skill level. Her swordplay is polished, refined, and devoid of all excess[7])
• Accelerated Development (Training: In a short timeframe, her swordplay progressed rapidly[7])
• Technique Mimicry (Alexia is showcased to be capable of copying others' swordplay by watching them a few times. For example, she copied Iris and Shadow's swordplay[4])
• Instinctive Action (Highly trained fighters are said to move through instinct,[6] doing things even before they can think. For example, Alexia can react without thinking, something that has become a part of her after many years of training. She can also evade attacks she isn't even aware of.[4] Rose can react before thinking and has sharpened instincts that tell her when it's the right time to attack.[6] Experienced fighters like Rex are shown to dodge attacks through pure instinct[6])

Rose

• Weapon Mastery (Rose's sword strikes are stated to be beautiful and sharp chapter 5
• Extrasensory Perception (Rose can sense magic and the presence of others Final Chapter
• Instinctive Action (Highly trained fighters are said to move through instinct,[6] doing things even before they can think. For example, Alexia can react without thinking, something that has become a part of her after many years of training. She can also evade attacks she isn't even aware of.[4] Rose can react before thinking and has sharpened instincts that tell her when it's the right time to attack.[6] Experienced fighters like Rex are shown to dodge attacks through pure instinct[6])

Seven Shadows

• Power Nullification and Absorption (The Seven Shadows are capable of functioning at full power inside Cid's school, where magic power is blocked and absorbed[2])

I checked the context multiple times. It's seems really refering to the soul because curse.

Agree. Since this looks like a rewording, can you downgrade this:

• Regeneration Negation (High-Mid; Superior to Alpha who negated the regeneration[5] of one of the monsters created by the Cult, which could regenerate after being bisected[6])

It's Low-Mid to Mid at best.

That should be removed fully. Contextually Regeneration is not negated by Alpha.

It's not about one shoting. She removed diablo cells by purification thus negating it's Regeneration. It's Regeneration was dependent on the cells. So technically it's not really Regeneration negation. It's a purification stuff.

I don't think that Spiritual Healing counts as Soul Manipulation unless I'm wrong.

And assuming that's true shouldn't Epsilon/Alpha get it too because they got the same ability?

Maybe, likely, or possibly at best, but I don't know—it feels like it's limited to Cid. In the first place, purification was taught to them by Cid, and I would be happy to upscale Cid from them. But backscaling doesn’t feel right, unless I get some more context.

I'll look it into one more time later but definitely it's not empathetic manipulation.

I just said that it could be empathetic manipulation or something like it, considering that evreyone that they had cured felt the same way as she did.

As far as I know and could read and rectify, everything seen here are skills reviewed and verified from volume 1 of the light novel, right?

If so, I would say that everything I've reviewed is good, I still have more to read, but I will say that everything is good. I hope you don't forget that each of those skills, as the story progresses, increase in level.

Yeah. I didn't talk about Cid specifically, I talked about the ability itself which only Cid,Alpha and Epsilon have.
Them not being saved by Cid makes a difference? Because I don't think that matters.
