Eating dreams and emotions

I don't get what you mean

If verse A has characters who can eat emotions, and verse B has Characters who exist as emotions, don't they get nuked by verse A? Or at least interact with them

I mean dreams and emotions are abstract afterall

Different fictional works have different standards of reality, so in versus threads, there is "verse equalization". If the characters have depth as characters and if the fictional work has interesting scenarios, like in Omori, then people are going to treat them like characters, and not like literal dreams and concepts. That would be very boring and defeat the whole purpose of the characters. For battles against dream characters in Omori, the opponent is assumed to be in Headspace as another dream character, even if their own fictional work treats them as real.

You should probably clarify your question more /

Yes, that's possible. But not exactly what your questions asking
I mean dreams and emotions are abstract afterall
Not without further verse context, no, they wouldn't be. They are incorporeal, not abstract. Quite a big difference.

Well yeah. Incorporeality includes abstract concepts as an example. Meaning of Abstract
existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence.
I'm still not sure what context you'd need when you can directly interact and eat fear, pain and dreams. Thoughts are not energy, they do not have concrete existance, and they're simply mental things
