so are you proposing that the anime be the main canon over the manga or that the anime is secondary canon to the manga (with the anime only being canon as well). Because if it's the latter, I obviously agree.

So basically the proposal is either

The anime is considered canon alongside anime only scenes / episodes / fight extensions (examples being the Mugen train prequel or multiple of the hashira training arc episodes) being considered “primary canon/canon”

Or the anime straight up becomes main canon

@ActuallySpaceMan42 agreed to the first proposal over the second

i can agree with the anime being canon alongside the manga yes, with obviously anime only scenes being considered as canon as well. obviously as long as there's no contradiction then it should be fine

Thanks! One last thing. How do you feel about the Mugen Train Movie/Anime being the main canon over the manga version of Mugen train arc since there was statement at the end of the third novelization of Gotouge saying they requested Ufotable to make Rengoku Vs Akaza the main focus of the movie and treated as a direct continuation of the manga because Gotouge felt that they could not give sufficient spotlight to the characters

I was asked to comment here.

Not entirely familiar with Demon Slayer.

Tentatively, I'll say that the blog looks thoroughly sourced at least, so I guess I'm if to state a stance here, I'm neutral leaning agreeing on whatever has majority consensus from Staff & Knowledgeable Members.
It does seem like the creator(s) are quite embracing of the anime as an expansion of the canon created by the manga, but I could be mistaken in my skimming reading's interpretation of this matter.
