Couldn't let Joseph one up my glorious goat 🙏 (Joseph's also my goat)
Knowledge/Learning Abilities
  • Top of his class in med school. (Where he got his masters degree) and he uses that knowledge to get the right dosage for the injections even accounting for the body weight. He also has an extreme amount of knowledge in human anatomy which he uses in combat and in executing his victims. He could do this even at 20 years old shown with Nurse Mary.
  • Knows how to pick locks so well that he needed to purposefully limit himself so Miguel wouldn’t get suspicious.
  • As a crime scene analyst he would need a ridiculous amount of skill in multiple different fields including: Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Human anatomy, Geometry, Meteorology, etc
  • Dexter is known as one of if not the best crime scene analyst in Miami which is a type of scientist. So Dexter is known throughout the state as the most skilled and intelligent scientist which a pretty impressive thing to be.
  • There’s a point in season 2 where Masuka finds something that could incriminate Dexter and his first thought was how he couldn’t believe he was about to be caught by Masuka, implying that he views Masuka as super far below him in terms of forensics skill, and Masuka is shown and stated by Batista to be well above average as a crime scene investigator (I’m paraphrasing here).
  • Knew just by looking at nearly decade old skeletons for just a few seconds that Hannah had killed someone
  • Just by looking at Rita for a few seconds and being in a high stress situation he was able to tell the length of the cut, and the specific location/artery that was cut.
  • Both Lundy and Dexter considered each other equals, with Lundy saying that he was lucky that the Trinity Killer chose Miami so that he could have access to the best crime scene analyst he knows, Dexter himself called Lundy a "Worthy adversary".
  • When Rita's car broke down in S2 she called Dexter over to help fix the car when he arrived he expressed that he was "More of a boat guy", implying that he's capable of repairing a boat.
  • Shown in the episodes where hes stalking the Trinity Killer he seems to know his way around construction/power tools
  • Built himself a small wood shack, complete with a functioning air conditioning system in under a day
  • As seen in “Dexter early cuts” he bought and used a boat in his early 20’s meaning he got a boating license when he was super young
Memory/Knowledge:
  • In season 1 he was in a court room and was asked if he had "Worked on a lot of cases" to which Dexter responded with a very specific and large number: 2,013 showing his superhuman memory and how experienced he is in his field.
  • Remembered the exact time of a kill despite it being over a year ago S3: E9 “About last night” 07:20 “I stalked a wife-killer at jacks hideaway last year, grabbed him right at closing. At 2:00 am…” this was a thought Dexter had after Miguel told him he was at jacks hideaway all night.
  • Never leaves any evidence behind (except one fluke in season 7 but that was because of Deb finding out) which is a crazy display of detail orientation, never a hair, blood, spit, not even dandruff, this is all likely due to his father teaching him how to be as meticulous as possible along with years of experience working with other detectives. This all shows how good Dexter is at picking up and retaining information/learning really quickly and having a really good memory.
Honestly I feel like Photographic Memory wouldn’t be entirely unwarranted

Intuition/Reasoning
  • Due to years of experience he’s gained borderline Clairvoyance when it comes to identifying criminals. Shown multiple times in the series most notably the man talking to Astor in the grocery store or even nurse Mary.
  • The fact he isn’t a genius purely based on his investigative abilities is genuinely bananas. He solved what was basically the most difficult/dangerous/confusing serial killer case possible (trinity killer) in a matter of a couple days. This would be like the real world equivalent of a lone police officer single handedly catching the Zodiac Killer in just a few days except 100x more difficult. Lundy himself had been tracking Trinity for years and couldn’t even prove he existed, making Dexter a superior detective to Lundy who is an FBI agent and someone who's considered to be a "Rockstar" when it comes to serial killer cases.
  • Planned out a well formulated plot to kill Miguel within seconds and in his head, including an alibi, a date of when the murder would take place, and even who to frame it on.
  • Found a suspect for the vacation murders in under a day just by checking the blood found at the scene
  • He constantly finds murderers who never had a case against them, meaning he just finds these people out in the wild (Such as Mike Donovan and Boyde Fowler)
  • Figured out pretty quickly that Arthur Mitchell was using the four walls builds to hide his kills

Combat/Skill
  • Has enough to skill to brutally overwhelm and strangle a special ops soldier while Doakes had a gun, Dexter was handcuffed and had a gunshot wound. Doakes is also shown to be able to out shoot a fellow soldier who Dexter was impressed by, stating that he was able to shoot with incredible accuracy in under a second.
  • He also basically no diffed George King who was a Captain in the military despite having a broken hand
  • When Vince was talking about Oscar Prado's murder he stated that the person who stabbed him either got super lucky or was unbelievably skilled.
  • He knows Judo and advanced Jiu Jutsu even describing the latter as "An easy credit"

Social Skills/Manipulation
  • In season 2 he evaded the entire FBI despite Lundy (who’s shown and stated to be an insanely smart detective) sharing an office space with him. This is the same Lundy who had a brief interaction with Arthur Mitchell and immediately had suspicions of him, so Dexter clearly has some ridiculously good social manipulation/masking abilities.
  • S3, E9: Knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that George King was guilty despite only briefly seeing him.
  • Manipulated Miguel Prado into believing his brother was unstable by, faking tip calls to him, and manipulating him into going to a bar and getting drunk subsequently causing him to become extremely angry. This was all planned out and pretty much none of it was up to chance.
  • He was able to successfully fake his own death, somehow board a plane or boat or something without being caught, created a fake identity and hid it from everyone for 10 years.
  • Manipulated Doakes into attacking him which led to him getting suspended
  • Super skilled at getting personally close to people he’s chasing for the sole purpose of benefiting in some way. Like with Arthur Mitchel he was able to work his way up to a seeming friendship with him in a matter of days

Also everything on the profile as is sorta feels Genius stuff

Disagree since this isn't the version from Dexter's Laboratory.

In all seriousness, looks reasonable.
