I'm bringing up an old discussion that was never finished. Currently, Dorathea is rated at High 7-A for doing this.

Feat: In season 2 episode 14"Beauty Marked", Dorathea fly's into the sky and splits a cloud formation of a large but unknown size. Do to not knowing the exact size of said cloud formation Mr. Bambu got said results.

Like I said in the previous thread I created about this feat, the cloud formation is much bigger than what we currently rate it as. My reasons for this are given to us by Dorathea herself and the size of the realm itself. First I'll start with the size of the realm as this is importent. As shown when she split the cloud formation, light shines down and you can see most of a sun, which means the realm is big enough to house a sun which would make it at least star sized.

Now about the size of the cloud formation, Dorathea (Someone who's lived in this realm for a long time) says "In this realm, all time stands still". It is shown that said cloud formation is what is causing this effect because when Dorathea preforms said feat and the light from the sun is let through, Sam's watch starts ticking again. The question would be asked if Dorathea split just a part of the cloud formation where the kindom was or the entire thing. Before Dorathea preforms the feat she states "I think it's about time we take this realm out of the dark ages".

So to go over everything.

The realm contains a sun so it is at least star sized. All time in the realm stands still and this effect is from the cloud formation which is shown as time starts moving again when the cloud formation is spliting. This would also mean said cloud formation covers the entire realm otherwise Dorathea would have said "this section" or "this part" of the realm is frozen in time but no, she states that "in this realm all time stands still". Dorathea also says "it's time we took this realm out of the dark ages" which means she's is splitting the entire cloud formation otherwise she would has said something like "this kingdom" or "this area". Finally, Dorathea has lived in this realm for a long time (1,600+ years) so her word when talking about it should be valid.

11:30 Dorathea says "In this realm, all time stands still".

18:24 Dorathea talks about how she has been living under Aragon's control for 1,600 years so yes, she has been hear a long time and with that amount of time she could have easily flown through the realm and seen that everywhere, time is frozen.

19:05 Dorathea says "I think it's time we took this realm out of the dark ages". This is also when the feat happens and you see Sam's watch start moving again so this is proof the cloud formation is causing the time effect.

19:27 You can see the sun in full view so we know for a fact there is a legit sun in the realm.

Given this info I think the distance of the cloud formation should be updated to the size needed to cover the sun. However if people want to use the current distance as a safe zone I am fine with that as long as the reasons ar valid. I wanted this discussion to actually be concluded.

Darkanine attempted one a while ago... So maybe it can be reused ?

I have no idea how to calculate something like that, but here's a shot.
Apparently the sun illuminates about 50% of the Earth's area, so 29,743.2 km^2.

29,743.2 / pi = 9,467.5 km

9,467.5 = 97.30 km

9,467.5 * 8 = 75,740 km^3 = 7.574e+13 m^3 * 1.003 = 7.596722e+13 kg

9,467.5 km / 14s = 676,250 m/s

7.596722e+13 * 0.5 * 676,250^2 = 1.7370439e+25 J

4.15 Petatons

idk a way to calculate the low-end of sun being blocked out by clouds though, so this is probably a high end.

The issue with Darkanine's calc is that it's using how much of the earth is illuminated by the sun which wouldn't work for this feat. Though Dark admits he doesn't know how to calc something like that.

The Realm is big enough to contain a sun, the cloud formation covers the entire realm so that means the cloud formation covers a greater area then the sun does so 50% of the earth would be to low but I don't know the first thing about calculations so I honestly don't know the best method.

Like I said, I know nothing about calculating feats but the method Dark used is different from what Mr.Bambu used in the orginal calculation.

I assumed all we'd need to do was update the orginal calc by using the new size of the cloud formation which is bigger than the Sun given it covers a much greater area. So we should just use a star sized cloud formation... If that's how it works. Again, I don't know. I hope I'm not confusing you or anyone else.

probs needs a calc yes, unfortunately idek about the result but clouds for some reason always will yield good results
