Does Shulk have time resistance?

I know Shulk is listed as having reality manipulation, but due to a certain scene towards the end of the game in this video at 30:31

Could this scene mean that Shulk may have some type of resistance to time manipulation?

First, we only use the term Immunity in very specific scenarios (i.e. immunity to Soul Manipulation due to being soulless, immunity to normal poisons) due to the large number of applications that can be attributed to each ability. The word you'd be looking would be Resistance.

While I don't know much about Shulk or his franchise, if I'm at the right time, when the blade said that "the world has very little time left" I'm fairly certain it just meant "this place is going to destroy itself without your help."

O'k then, I'll refer to it as Time Resistance, but back to the matter at hand. I understand what you were saying, but trust me, the situation in the video, to me at least, seemed to catch Shulk off-guard, as though he wasn't expecting it.

This lead me to believe that the blade/entity had frozen time around Shulk in order to commune with him alone, as though it was aware of the fact he could resist time freeze, which, by the look on Shulk's face seemed to surprise him.
