Does resistance to power null mean you have resistance to energy absorption?

You need resistance to absorption, specifically energy absorption. There is a difference between an ability that nullifies other abilities and an ability that nullifies other abilities by absorbing the energy powering said power, the end result is the same but in this case, the means are more important.
