Does eyeshield 21 deserve a page?

as recommanded by Ant I copied what I wrote about eyeshield 21 in a content revision thread.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if you thought eyeshield 21 (the verse) could have it's own page. Characters have some very good feats even if the verse is supposed to be full of normal humans (it is a sport manga/anime about american football). I will take screenshots but right now I remember the following feats:

Speed:

40 yard dash records in eyeshield 21 (you can compare those stats to real life stats https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/40-yard_dash#Records_at_the_NFL_Scouting_Combine):

Here are all characters who can do it in 4.6 seconds or less:

Sena Kobayakawa: 4.20 sesonds (4.10 seconds for a short moment but he is exhausted after that)

Shin Seijuro: 4.20 seconds (formerly 4.40 seconds)

kaitani Riku: 4.50 seconds

Patrick "Panther" Spencer: 4.10 seconds

Agon Kongo: 4.60 seconds

Takeru Yamato: 4.25 seconds

Clifford D.Lewis: 4.20

Bud Walker: 4.40 seconds

Note: Shin Seijuro and Sena can catch a motorbike (the motorbike in question was slowed down because of traffic jam though).

Sena is able to use a crossover step to make a sharp cut without slowing down thanks to his "devil bat ghost". That technique creates an "afterimage" and his opponents will missjudge his actual speed (most people slow down in that situation unlike Sena), they end up tackling the afterimage instead of Sena himself.

Sena can even create up to four "clones" with his "multiple devil bat ghost"

Agon Kongo is able to copy Sena and created his own version of the devil bat ghost.

Lifting strenght:

Bench press (all characters who can lift 120 kg or more multiple time). Keep in mind they just use their arms to do that since it's bench press.

Ryôkan Kurita: 160 kg

Shin Seijuro: 140 kg

Makoto Otawara: 145 kg

Daigo Ikari: 120 kg

Agon Kongo: 120 kg

Rikiya Gao: 200 kg

"Buffalo" Ushijima: 120 kg

Mamoru Bamba: 145 kg

Note: Bamba can lift a huge stone cube.

Shin Seijuro was able to lift Kurita over his head (while the latter's weight is 145 kg)

Iwashige and Kyotai (the two stronguest players of "sado strong golems") could pull a bus.

They also lifted a big rock with their coach sitting on it to show their strenght.

Striking strenght:

Shin Seijuro can tackle two bikers (who're currently riding a motorbike that moves a bit slower than usual due to traffic jam) with one arm without difficulty and without feeling pain.

Shin also stopped a wild boar's charge with his hand (by grabbing the animal's tusks), he then threw it against a tree and and knocked it out.

Shin also one shot (and knocked out) an adult bear with his bare hands

Makoto Otawara was able to curve a metallic bar (and Kurita was able to put it back to normal).

He was also able to uproot a few trees.

Daigo Ikari destroyed a ball during a match with one punch.

Rikiya Gao stopped a small truck with one hand (the driver was braking so it didn't have it's full speed), but he was undamaged after that and the steel was distorded.

"Powers":

Agon Kongo was born with an ability known as "god speed impulse". it allows him to move and react faster than normal humans (he can react in 0.11 second). he can also use this to learn how to do complex things extremely quickly (he learnt how to drive a car (manga only: it's in chapter 313) when he was a kid thanks to this) and can copy techniques (and any movement) just by seeing them once (just like he did with Sena's devil bat ghost) ... in a way his god speed impulse reminds me of what the task master (from marvel) can do (with his "photographic reflexes").

Like I said I will take screenshots later but I'd say a few of those characters can reach wall level without weapon which is very impressive for a sport anime. What do you think of that? Do you think the verse deserves it's own page?

They could probably get pages, some of the feats are street level + to wall level:

Stopping the full-speed charge of the most common European wild boar of average mass is just barely wall level, though I can't find anything on a Japanese boar's speed or mass.

Trucks take pretty long to break, so I'm gonna assume it had only slowed to half speed, in which case stopping it would vary from wall level to wall level+ depending on what kind of truck it is (if it's more like a pickup wall level, if it's more like a box truck wall level+)

Bending a metal bar is probably street level, maybe athlete+ if it's thin enough

Uprooting a tree sounds like more of a lifting strength feat, but if it were done with a strike it'd likely be wall level (considering industrial vehicles can struggle with uprooting trees and cars are generally more damaged than trees in crashes).

Speed all seems like athlete level, even Kongo's only got athlete+ reaction time.

The afterimage thing sounds more like illusions created by making the opponent overpredict, since they're created without any increase in speed beyond what the characters usually show and track, and can seemingly easily be tracked and copied by a character with explicitly athlete level reactions.

It's a bit silly, but there's no rule saying they can't have pages. But I'm not sure if we should set such a precedent, since it would open the path for profiles like Tatsuya Kuroko or the Shouyou Hinata.

Sena's maximum ramming power would be as follows:

KE = 1/2mv^2 KE = (48.0808 * (36.576 m/4.2s)^2)/2 KE = 1823.20509 J.

9-C or Street level

Given his general wimpiness but ability to shrug off a glancing attack from Shin, he'd probably top out at the lower end of 10-A normally.

Thanks for all those precisions and I agree with your conclusions.

When Otawara uprooted a tree he didnd't lift it (he pushed) that's why I counted that as a striking strenght feat.

I think I will take screenshots for feats such as:

- moments bench press feats are mentionned or showed (though I will take me some time to find this for all characters I mentionned).

- Bamba lifting a huge stone cube

- Kyotai and Iwashige lifting a huge rock

- Kyotai and Iwashige pulling a bus

- Shin lifting Kurita over his head

- Ikari Daigo destroying a ball during a match with his one puch

- Otawara curving a metal bar

- When Agon Kongo's power is explained

But It will probably be better if I publish vids (on youtube for example) for feats such as:

- Sena and Shin catching a motorbike (and Shin being able to tackle bikers that were on it). This way it will be more clear how the traffic jam slowed it.

- Rikiya Gao stoping the small truck.

- Shin stoping the boar (I also tried to check what I could find about japanese boars but I didn't find concrete information about their mass and speed)

- Shin when he one shot an adult bear (I don't know if bears that are in mount Fuji are different that bears you can find in America).

Now that I think about it, Rikiya Gao also twisted a barrier in a stadium (this kind of barriers: http://www.stadiumsolutions.co.uk/s...ull_infill_havant_&_waterlooville-338x447.jpg)

Also I don't know if it's useful or not but Gao teared apart a mouthguard because his jaws are very powerful (it was a regular one. he does that very often and he needs one in titanium)

I also remember that Shin also lifted a 200 lb Barbell with his pinky fingers and could do pulls up the same way.

We should only make profiles for the most notable characters though. Making a profile for Taki wouldn't make any sense.

Sorry for the late reply: I wanted to reply the 3rd of May but I was interrupted and I forgot to continue (I remembered when I watched notifications).

Thanks for that feat, now that you tell it I remember it.

And yeah, I agree: only characters like Shin, Kurita, Otawara deserve a profile.

One question: do you think Sena deserves a profile? As you know it he is not very strong but very fast.
