Does Biological Manipulation negate durability?

Unless someone is shown to have a robust immune system or stated resistance, does bio manipulation negate durability?

Goku could still get a heart virus, Gohan was subjected to poison through physical contact (only examples I have really).

Diseases should normally affect even stronger people. So yes, it does ignore dura.

But like Prom said, it varies.

So in what cases wouldn't it be true, and for what characters if you can think of any? I would assume people who get powers from biological manipulation (radiation, gene modifying, etc) have resistance to it.
