It would probably work at the cellular level, but definitely not the atomic level.
Ok thanks youReppuzan said:When proteins (like in flesh) are exposed to acid, it breaks apart the acid-base bonds between the amino acids that make up tissue. Hence it would work on cellular and perhaps even on the molecular level, but not the atomic level.
