I think the Fantasy Big Bad Wolf takes this, it seems better in just about everything.
Carniwolf doesn't have a calc and that bridge feat might land pretty high, but as of now it's baseline and the D&D wolf scales a little bit higher.
D&Wolf is Class 25, while the other peak human, the latter will easily be thrashed around, pinned down, shoved away, chomped and such.
The Dire Wolf has at least comparable senses, if not slightly better, and should be as skilled in stealth, so all furtive tactics could go both ways and probably in its favor more times than not, leaving alone that it could easily turn around any attempt at getting jumped given the great superiority in strength.
Lastly, the Dire Wolf's got weapon mastery, which means it knows how to use its bite in a much better way than a normal wolf, which I don't know how would be applied, but it's there nonetheless.

All in all, Dire Wolf wins.

The calc is on the Coelophysis page.

Mechanically weapon focus is a +1 to hit, so it's a way to say the bite is more accurate
