So there's a D.Gray Man calc that gets Suman's height to 1209.1m. On reread of the panels though he doesn't seem to be 1km. I'll show some panels that show maybe he's a different size:
It initially looked smaller too, so definitely grew from just about 2 storey.
Here is it from distance on ground. It is not in the clouds here, it is surrounded by akumas
Here there's clouds high above him, yet he's rather low compared to them. You can see him just in the middle of the explosion.
Here we can see Allen on him, yet in another instance we can not see Lenalee standing on him. A bit of a contradiction I feel.
