Dexter has far better stealth showings, and in 1v1 encounter he simply stomps via better stats and skill. I don't think prior knowledge will help Joe much even if he is smarter, cuz Dex has enhanced senses.

This already happened before back when they had comparable stats. The only thing that's changed is all equipment being allowed and that Dexter has two weeks to learn about Joe while the latter doesn't even know who exactly is going after him.
