Devil May Cry Anime show Discussion Thread

Okay I have to be fair and say that "See U in Hell" is pretty damn good.

I'd say its better than Afterlife, maybe not, different styles after all so it isn't totally fair.

But it really comes off as a bootleg "Fire Inside"

I get the idea is that both are talking about their relationship, Netflix has it harder since Vergil from second one is ****** and part of Mundus plan while in the original they met a whole year before the main story and had time to "catch up" so to say.

Fire inside takes this and uses it to point out the differences from both sides but how at the end of the day its two souls divided while See U in Hell is more like a PoV from, you could argue it changes when the chorus stops which would make sense Dante first then Vergil, then the song would resemble Fire Inside more.

Fire Inside to me comes off as their convictions, their goals and their motivations. It left the tragedy behind as the origin of their differences and now its about how they are a soul divided, changed and yet in the end they are brothers. They share that Fire that moves them forevermore forward.

See U in Hell is more like the two of them coming to terms with their situation. Dante knows Vergil poisoned the well and there is no past that. Vergil for his part is too much overcome by his trauma to see things through and thinks his way is the only way.

I ain't wasting my netflix with that. I will watch Mushoku Tensei and if I feel like watching the show, and I really mean IF, I will just set sail and do what I must.

Omg.... I'm laughing right 😆

In before they turn Nante into a harem protagonist (By that I mean he has a harem, not just tons of girls liking him)
It's quite possible that this could actually happen. From what I remember, Dante frequented many bars where there are women in the novel. I haven't read it, but has Dante ever kissed a woman in the canon?

Guys I know we called him Nergil, but how about buying a 40 dollar shirt of "Dante & Virgil" from the official Netflix Shop!!!!
