Detective Pikachu Vs. Sketch Turner

I like this matchup. This version of Pikachu can't paralyze sketch, which would've given Pika the win with medium resistance. Considering this, his electricity shouldn't be too much of a problem as Sketch can get up fine from fireballs, acid and other elemental projectiles. So this comes down to skill and raw ability, which gives this to Sketch. This is because:

  • Sketch is a skilled martial artist while Pikachu isn't
  • Sketch is stronger as he can punch down metal doors and machinery, while Pikachu scales to a Charizard that can dent/bend fences and mangle a metal light fixture
  • Sketch can use his own electric rat Roadkill, which helps to distract Pikachu at times and give Sketch more openings
  • Sketch can heal any damage he's taken with iced teas, as well as being able to throw grenades, dynamite and knives at Pikachu
  • Sketch's physical strength advantage can allow him to grab and combo Pikachu with mild resistance
Only way Pikachu wins is if he keeps his distance and spams electricity at Sketch, which I don't believe he does in character, so Sketch Turner takes this 8/10 times.
