Destructive force to break the diamond

Last I heard, it took about 850,000 psi to break diamond. Assuming a relatively human-limb-sized thing is hitting it, then if my friend's calcs can be trusted, it would require several dozens of megajoules. So, probably Small Building Level, maaaybe Building Level. It really depends on the circumstance, too...
