Deoxys vs Terrarian

Speed equalized. Getting that right off the bat.

With Terrarian's upgrades, I thought I should put him against one the PMD tier 5's. Terrarian likely would've stomped Rayquaza, and Mewtwo would've likely stomped him. So a good middle ground is Deoxys. Which one should win this match? Obviously SMD Deoxys, and Deoxys can change formes at any time. Terrarian is also obviously at his peak.

Again, Terrarian's durability negation only works against people who would die without internal organs. Though I still give it to the Terrarian. Constant barrage of homing attacks is too hard to deal with.

@Cal yeah, his regen would really help him if it wasn't that the his regen varies depending on the condictions of the cristal he has on his chest (it took him years to recover from a point blank hyperbeam from rayquaza to the cristal) and if the cristal on his chest is broken, he dies

the terrarian wins, he is way more experince, with summons he outnumbers deoxys and he has homing and piercing weapons and durability negation via Lightning Aura Staff, also deoxys has an easilly spottable weak point

Deoxys would have the advantage even without Speed Blitzing, we've seen Deoxys come back from having most of its body destroyed, the homing attacks could be countered with Teleportation, Pressure would eventually tire the Terrarian out and Defense Form would help out in the defense department, since we saw defence form block a massive Hyper Beam from Rayquaza and without electric to stun Deoxys and stop it from seeing clearly, Terrarian seems out-matched. The Potions would eventually run out and Deoxys can just block the Danmaku, heavy hits can be countered with Protect and not to mention his cloning ability, Psyco-boost, Psysic to keep distance, Extreme speed to Speed Blitz as Extreme speed goes first, Agility to increase speed going past the Speed Equalized etc.

Knock-off would well... knock off the Terrarian's items anyway, Recover, Reflect, Light Screen to reduce damage taken further. I say Deoxys via versatility and better hax.

Terrarian has enough projectiles that "keep distance" won't be a valid strategy. Forcefields would be bypassed by most of his weapons. Regenerationn could be easily disabled by breaking the Core, and homing attacks would aim at that spot most likely.

Teleportation doesn't "counter" anything. Terrarian's homing attacks are such an ungodly spam that Deoxys would have to be constantly teleporting to avoid them all.

Getting into melee range would be even worse for Deoxys, considering that the Terrarian's melee weapons do even more damage than his projectiles. Also, the Terrarian can carry dozens of buff potions that last on average about three minutes each, hundreds of full-recovery mana potions, and dozens of full-recovery health potions (even though he has to wait one minute in between health potions). Once Deoxys is weakened enough, the Terrarian can disintegrate him with his Last Prism before he regenerates.

Distance, countered by teleportation, get's close, defence form, knock off his items, also PP isn't a thing in the actual lore so yeah, he can just keep dodging or have his duplications tank the hits and they aren't weak at all as they were able to hold Rayquaza down for quite a while before dissipating by command. Recover to regen health beyond their natural Regenerationn. Psychic to throw the Terrarian around. Throws Projectiles, Mirror Coat. All his projectiles were just deflected back at the Terrarian. Also, how would any of the projectiles get past Protect? Also, chances of him actually hitting the core are very unlikely. Homing attacks countered by Deoxys' own homing attacks like swift. Hyper beam clears the field. Amnesia increases defense against the projectiles. Oh, Terrarian pulls out Spell Pyrism? Snatch, now Deoxys has spell Pyrism and the Terrarian is dead.

if you mean the move snatch, that works only on healing/stat boosting moves, if you mean litterally deoxys snatching the last prism, he wouldn't be able to use it has he doesn't have mana

If Deoxys tries to enter melee range, he gets chopped in half by a sword, impaled by solar eruption, or shredded by the stardust dragon. If he stays at range, he is outmatched and overwhelmed. His firepower is too much for Deoxys to handle. Going into defense form would only prolong the inevitable.

Actually, I've yet seen anything that makes the Terrarian a "genius" beside his ability to use weapons and craft them. And Deoxys is a Super Genius, being a psychic type, being able to control at least thousands of Duplicates and being able to outwit the likes of Rayquaza

And still, haven't spoken about Mirror Coat reflecting.

Actually, one Swift isn't the weakest move, by far, and swift can go on as long as the person needs, so at least matching Danmaku and it's coming from a being who one shotted Rayquaza to the floor and forced him to rest for a minute before getting back up, not only that but Deoxys has the highest Attack and Spe-Attack bar Mewtwo's mega evolution forms.

Presuming that it didn't just hit the Terrarian, and if you say the Necklace (Increases immunity frames) then that would mean that the Terrarian has either a weaker Stardust Dragon and weaker magic or that he doesn't have the necklace and took A LOT of damage.

All people start off with 20 mana, enough for at least 1 second of use against the Terrarian and then he can give it to a Duplicate to run of with.

defence form isn't complete invulnerability, also the terrarian could be a easilly be a higher dwarf star level as he's dwarf star level for easilly killing beings that can do a dwarf star level feat with a fraction of their power and no, the stadust dragon isn't rayquaza 2.0, he has intangibility as shown from the fact that he phases trought blocks, so he would just sit on deoxys and deoxys wouldn't be able to do much about it and lunar flare bolts phase trought matter ( for the same reason as the stardust dragon) and the terrarian has multiple ways to dodge hyper beam: teletrasportation, masten ninja gear dash and 10% chance do make the user dodge an attack or use the Wiesnbräu to gain 30 seconds of invulnerability, also the terrarian has fought all kind of enemy and has faaaaar more combact experience than deoxys and deoxys wouldn't even know how to use the last prism and all terrarian start with 20 mana, not all living creatures, also the terrarian can bring multiple copies of the same weapons as his hammerspace can contain hundreds of cubic meters of stone

Last prism takes a few seconds to activate. By then, Deoxys would run out of mana, even assuming he had any. Even with the highest tier magic gear, the Terrarian needs to chug mana potions to use last prism. Inferno potion, Nebula Arcana, stardust dragon, or Razorblade typhoon would get Deoxys through his clones. Also, keep in mind that Deoxys needs to kill the Terrarian in under a minute, or he'll heal with a potion. Finally, defense form Deoxys will only take extra damage from the lightning aura staff, while having his defense completely ignored.

Knock off, Duplicate picks up, you no longer have items with this repetition. Deoxys throws the Terrarian into space, the Terrarian suffocates and dies. Stardust Dragons come close, teleport. Light Screen slows and halves the damage they would take from his Danmaku. Then stack this with Calm Mind making the damage almost nothing. Any damage would then be healed with their natural Regenerationn or recovery. Double team spam makes it so Stardust Dragon wouldn't be able to tell who's the real Deoxys neither would the Terrarian, stack this is duplicates too. The Terrarian chooses to get up close, reflect, halves the amount of damage from Physical attacks, Substitute negates a few attacks. Aerial Ace bypasses Ninja Gear, it never misses. All the additional effects from the buffs are now being used by Deoxys via Psych Up, can't be dodged either.

know off wount be very effective considering that the terrarin won't just stay there and take the knock off, and he would counter deoxys attack, and no, the terrarian can survive in space. if the terrarian gets close he can use the solar eruption that phases trought things. arial ace's description says this "The user confounds the target with speed, then slashes. This attack never misses." so it's probably made useless by speed equalized, and psych up copyes stat changes so it won't work on potions like invisibility and inferno

Minions and homing weapons always hit the real target, as shown by the fight with the lunatic cultist, who makes actual clones rather than afterimages. Terrarian can move in space thanks to his UFO mount. As I mentioned before, the more defenses Deoxys puts up, the more the Terrarian's lightning aura staff will increase in power. Deoxys cannot heal or regenerate instantly, so against the Terrarian's sheer firepower if he is incapacitated even only for a few seconds, he will he quickly finished off.

the Stardust dragon alone would screw Deoxys up HARD. It ignores barriers and can go through walls and cannot be hurt since it's a summon. If Deoxys tries to do a even slightly longer battle, he'd just be chipped at and die. Terrarian.
