Depends if he starts with the EE and how the EE works, Sonic also has passive restoration as he moves, so arguably he just undoes it as he moves

Plus if Sonic blitz with his amps before he uses it, then he would touch it first, also getting wrecked by Sonic's conceptual and info manip
