Death and its ability to steal

Hello

Like everyone who played Castlevania SOTN, at the beginning of the game Death steals your items and plays for "normal" Castle and Inverted Castle.

What skill category would this Death skill be in? I haven't seen such a thing as a "Steal" skill on that wiki.

Just that? I thought it would be something else since he only removes the equipment.

But what about cases that for example: A simply removes B's equipment without any kind of displacement or anything like that. The Equipment only appears in A's hand or elsewhere.
