Kratos does have Mind Resistance, though it only scales to Mind Manipulation that controlled one dude (doesn't matter how strong he is physically, his mind is still the same as an ordinary one unless proven otherwise.).

Kratos's Mind Manipulation resistance scales to ~300 or so people, but still, nowhere near Darth Vader's own mind manipulation. He gets stomped.
However, Kratos can probably pull off a win in the second round, since the speed is not equalized.
