Darkrai vs. Bowser

Wait, Bowser's EE does not take time. The only reason it didn't work here was because Peach and Starlow interrupted him. Peach has shown to stop wishes, such as in Paper Mario. So what stops Bowser from using EE on Darkrai? He also has a barrier surrounding him, no? Wouldn't that stop the projectile?

If he CONSTANTLY has a barrier surrounding him, then yea, he could have a better chance.

What stops Bowser from using EE? It just occurred to me that Darkrai does have Mind hax in the form of Hypnosis, and thought-based attacks go faster, unless you're gonna start telling me that Bowser's EE is thought-based.

As shown whenever he has the Dream Stone, a barrier is shown around him. He doesn't have it during his boss battle due to Game mechanics/PIS otherwise he would be impossible to beat.

People say that Darkrai starts with his sleep manipulation, not mind manipulation. Bowser's EE is thought-based as he is the embodiment of the Dream Stone and has shown to use its powers without having to actually wish for it.

Darkrai does have resistance to the Creation Trio's abilities, which are on a 4D level, and also include the likes of EE. In both the movie and its manga adaptation, Palkia was passively eroding matter and space around its vicinity (which can basically be considered essentially EE). Darkrai was clashing with it at one point was literally was practically unaffected by the "semi-passive" eroding. It really depends on how fast Bowser's EE works, but apparently thought-based abilities is kinda second to passive abilities (most of the time).

Also, there's no evidence to say that Dreamy Bowser to affect anything above 3D, anyways. So while EE IS the wincon, cause Darkrai isn't a 4D entity, the effects of EE would be at least slowed by Darkrai's resistances that have already been evidented to stand up to 4D level.

Yet again Pokémon triumphs over it's older cousin franchise, isn't the gap between Pokémon and SMB pretty small? (I believe SMB has the AP advantage but Pokémon is more haxxed).
