Likely a simple addition, though I'm unsure if this will be accepted.
Corruption
All ghosts should have Corruption Type 1.
"Corruption is the ability to "infect" someone or something with one's power, making said person or thing into a different being or state of being than it was before."
"Type 1 – Physical Corruption: Using the ability to corrupt the opponent through physical contact. Users of this ability normally have to put a piece of themselves, or the corrupting material if it's not necessarily part of the user, into the target. The corrupting in this case normally acts like a disease, in that it spreads throughout the victim. The ability can potentially be used to mess with any part of the target, be it their body or their mind, though the soul is normally left untouched."
Evidence
Through possession and their energy, ghosts can corrupt others.
In season 2, episode 8 / 9 "The Ultimate Enemy", Danny's ghost half attempts to overshadow Vlad's ghost half but is corrupted in the process. With Vlad even stating that his evil overwhelmed him.
In season 1, episode 6 "What You Want", Desiree conjures ghosts that overshadow several humans and they get corrupted, the first was Dash, who goes through an entire physical change which made him more aggressive like Danny did when Vlad corrupted him.
In season 2, episode 15 "King Tuck", The Scarab Scepter which contained a ghosts power, corrupted Tucker the moment he touched it.
In season 3, episode "Urban Jungle", Undergrowth corrupted Sam with his vines which are just apart of him.
There are more examples throughout the series but you get the idea. In these instances, they aren't mind controlling them, just corrupting them which is why Dan still considers himself Danny in a way, Dash still played football instead of attacking people, and Tucker was just more aggressive. Sam could also speak unlike those directly controlled by Undergrowth's mind vine. If more evidence is needed, I'll see if I can get more of other ghosts doing it to further cement it.
So I suggest under the Possession section in the Ghost Physiology (Danny Phantom) page (as that's when they mostly do it. It should say...
* Corruption (Type 1; Ghosts can corrupt others through contact when they overshadow them, effecting them with their evil)
This would also give season 1 Danny resistance to corruption for resisting Poindexter's possession and makes season 2 Vlad's corruption more potent. References will be added of course.
