Dan couldn't take it anymore, he kept on losing to the various mutants and street fighters in every fighting tournament he entered. Out of pure desperation, He challenged a wolf pup to a one on one duel to show that he couldn't be defeated by everyone

Ground Rules:

• Hikari does not have the Game Planner
• Hikari has acesses to his wooden sword
• Both start 5 meters apart

As for what Hikari has

He has a considerable lifting strength advantage, Small size making him harder for Dan to reliably hit, specials he can utilize by building up his special meter (it passive grows overtime but it fills faster by hitting opponent, stealing the ball from them etc) which can still be used without the need of a ball (can realistically just use a small rock to the same effect), regen which lets him recover from Dan's hits and not being full of himself and taunting his opponent mid fight like Dan

Dan has some pretty good acrobatics and moves like his Gadouken and Dankuukyaku plus autograph projectiles to hit Hikari even if he is a smaller target. He can also use Okoto Michi to explode and trap Hikari which should also burn away his sword. His taunting will hinder his overall ability, but that grab landing could give him a solid win con if Dan capitalizes before Hikari regens. Though Hikari’s explosion resistance and LS advantage makes this especially hard.

I’ll vote Hikari for him being able to survive Dan’s best move and avoid plenty of hits from him
