Would you consider an Alien force, coming to Earth, and their weapon can affect an area of an entire city, to eventually entire countriesand even continnents, 6-A? Goal of aliens was to "terraform" the entire Earth btw.

Depends on the timeframe, if they destroyed an entire city in one blast but took a while to destroy countries, continents etc, then it's just city level. They need feats of taking out continents in one shot to be 6-A.

Well in my opinion the range of this weapon really has no restriction. At some points it's smaller to destroy a military battalion, at others it can engulf entire cities in seconds and continue throughout the continent.
