Club Penguin Discussion Thread

Multiverse is possibly real.
Hiya there! When I heard Gary was researching the Box Dimension, I just had to join him! This was my chance to do something so unbelievably awesome—hang out with my good pal for the entire day! Also, exploring another dimension would be cool too.

First, Gary wanted to test the safety of the portal in Island Central. This was going to take HOURS, so I did some science of my own and jumped in. Gary rushed through to check on me, and sure enough, everything was fine.

What we saw around us was crazy! It was like our world except way more purple. And with way more boxes. And nothing at all like our world. I couldn’t shake the thought that I’d seen this place before in my dreams, but like Aunt Arctic says—sometimes my imagination runs away from me.

Gary was super stoked about the new dimension. He said it could finally prove what he called the “Multiverse theory.” I was excited too ’cause proving the multiverse theory with my good pal is a fun way to spend the day.

We tried to think of names to call the strange world and Gary said “The Corrugated Fiberboard Dimensional Space.” I really liked how science-y that sounded! Then he asked me what I’d call it. I wasn’t really sure, but I said “The Box Dimension?”

And y’know what Gary said? He said “Rookie, that’s perfect!”

I mena, I can theorize the existence of the multiverse before It being confirmed
Yes, "you" can, but not the current you who already lives in an era where the idea has already spread and become common sense; for that to happen, someone had to think about it first and try to provide a logical explanation.

Finally, PEAK has come to the wiki. Now all we need are Poptropica and Moshi Monsters, and my childhood interests can fight for dominance in a VS setting.

(Speaking of Moshi Monsters, any idea how powerful Herbert is? I know he stomps Dr. Strangeglove, but I wanna know exactly HOW badly as I've seen that MU thrown around a bunch).

With wank? Universal, Darth Herbert was supposedly going to destroy the universe.
latest

This is probably non-literal hype since it's only spoken by the characters and there's nothing to indicate that it would actually happen.(Star Wars Takeover Event)

It's funny that through Card Jitsu, the player can play Dragon Ball Heroes and summon other characters.

They can summon Sensei, Gamma Gal, Shadow Guy, Aunt Arctic, and so on.

One cool thing I noticed while searching for things on the profile.

They did Foreshadow really well. Seriously. They dropped hints about upcoming events and stories weeks before they happened in the newspaper.

For example, Operation Blackout. In a CPT on October 14, 2012, while the ghost event was still going on, in the "Ask Gary" section, a fake Herbert account asked Gary how he would build a laser to block the sun.

The Operation Blackout party didn't happen until November 14, 2012. In other words, just a month later, and there were already hints of what was going to happen.

Also, interesting site, I'll link in the OP.

this is probable around wall level, maybe street level, but a casual snowball doing It is really funny
Funny thing Club Penguin is consistently 9-B/9-A.

I have hope in the Gamma Gal rays, since being gamma rays burning something so fast must give a high energy?

is Gamma Gal and Shadow and Shadow Guy even real? they seen to be fictional character in the verse, they originate from a theater piece in the theater, their comic starts with a penguin writing the story too, the only thing that seen to inply they exist is their card jutsu card but I don't think this is enough for me personaly

They are, there are other comics that feature them like in CPT 500 and 501

They also have trump cards that are of Club Penguin characters that exist.

the squidzoid also has a trump card and he is just a penguin in a squid costume
But he's a character who appears in the treatise, like.

Like, the character actually exists. He's a penguin who dresses like a squid, and he even appeared in a separate comic.

The story of the theater doesn't make the characters non-existent (especially when their costumes also give us powers), it just makes that theater story a fictional story, since the characters are just acting out the story in a theater (but that doesn't mean the characters don't exist per se).

I'm still iff about the existence of the heroes(their costumes giving powers don't mean the characters aren't fictional, and squidzoid being a penguin interpreting being a squid kinda adds to the possibility of the heroes being just penguins intepreting then(that would also explain why their bodies color change so much)

I'm saying Squidzoid exists, but the theater story in which he played doesn't.

As for the colors, it's kind of hard to tell; they were extremely minor characters. But it's probably meant to represent that any penguin wearing their costumes can have these powers, since, well, the costumes grant the characters their powers.

But I understand your interpretation. Would you have a problem if the profiles said that "Gamma Gal" and "Shadow Guy" represent a profile of not exactly a unique character per se, but penguins who act like those characters when wearing their costumes? (That would explain the card jitsu and different designs.)

Although, I don't know if this type of profile can be created. I really want to use characters with this set of powers without resorting to the player.

I find it annoying to have to say "all player equipment is restricted except for the gamma gal costume."

Yes the profiles can be created for fictional characters in fictional settings
and I don't mind just wanted to clarify sinse It would make scalling then even harder

While I was creating the profile, I had trouble figuring out what constitutes a true power and what was only possible with clothing.

Because, in the game, we can only do anything with clothing due to game limitations.

Since we know that elemental Card-Jitsu doesn't depend on special clothing from Sensei's flashback, I divided the tabs into powers and abilities, and ninja equipment.

One of the things that remained in the second tab was the ninja outfit's invisibility, which I wasn't sure if it was a true power or a power of the clothing. I put it in the second option because the catalog said the clothing allowed this (although it can also be considered a description so you can use it in normal gameplay).

However, in a CPT interview with Sensei, it is mentioned how ninjas in general can become invisible. So I'm not sure if this is a common ninja ability or a special power of the outfit (like 99% of the player's outfits).

What do you think?

Probable a suit thing

Hmm, I don't know. If only Sensei had some animation using this invisibility. He only has the animation for turning invisible using the water element.

I mean, it doesn't make much of a difference, considering elemental powers do the same thing, and switching equipment for the player is almost instantaneous. But it's still something I'm unsure about.

Aunt Artic is a black belt in Card Jitsu and has even managed to defeat Sensei.
- CPT 394

Well, I guess that was expected considering she's [REDACTED]

EDIT: I think that's enough to justify a profile of her.
