While Chewie's bowcaster gives him an edge, Groot's healing factor and durability mean that Chewie can't kill him.

I'm thinking Groot should take this.

Groot has a strong healing factor and can take his arms being sliced off without much stress, as well as being capable of creating long-range vine weapons that can easily stab through Sakaaran armor. He takes this pretty easily.
