Can the Devil Man defeat the Fallen Angel(During fight with Undyne)?

-Bloodlusted

-Setting:Baba's Battlefield (Devil's Toliet)

-Speed Equalized

-Who wins?

I would imagine probably Sans. Even without a gigantic speed advantage he can likely wear down Spike with gravity manipulation and teleportation and nonstop barrages of various attacks, whereas Spike's comparatively limited in his options. Has he killed anyone, ever? It should also be pointed out that it's very unlikely that Sans has a literal heart to target with the Devilmite Beam, so that would probably not be effective.

Spike has definitely killed multiple people with the Devilmite Beam.

I have a question, how is this a thing, no offense, but, Sans has fought against Chara and killed her, and Chara is a Tier 2 Enemy who has survived the universe they live in be destroyed, how can a tier 8-A have any hope on beating someone who has killed a Tier 2 enemy, several times.

I don't think Akkuman can win this, Sans is too OP... I think a better match up would be Akkuman Vs. Frisk/Chara (speed equalized too) ...even though they will just come back a bajillion times until they win anyways, but it still counts as a win even if Frisk/Chara dies only once. Akkuman's Beam of Evil works like Sans' KR, even just the smallest drop of evil makes your hearth explode (even a monk was killed by it in the anime).

Hmm since the people say that Sans isn't the best enemy for Spike, I will change it to Chara ig.

Chara swings her Real Knife and suddenly the screen fills with 9999999999999999999999999999999 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999

If spike is anything less then multiversal in durability or unless he is consistently intangible, or unless he can casually dodge Lightspeed attacks, Chara wins in the first move.

You do know that speed is equalized right? And Chara's opponent has an attack similar to Sans' KR, the more evil the opponent is, the more damage it does, even a monk was afected by it, as even the smallest drop of evil was enough to make his hearth explode. I know that Chara will just LOAD, but the first kill is the one that counts for a win iirc.

I didn't see that. Sorry.

I guess I should've stamped on a, "Chara takes the initiative and swings their knife first," to the beginning of my comment.

Then the question is, how evil is a little kid with a knife who has killed the soul-equivalent of a single person?

How much damage does Spike's Karmic retribution do to that? Will it be enough to kill Chara?

I mean, chara is the sort of character to just literally attack at the very first opportunity, charging recklessly just to get the first hit off, even when they definitely don't need to, as seen with Asgore...

That might be enough to cause a one-hit kill before Spike ever gets to attack, let alone kill Chara for the first time. Speed is equal so the chances of Spike fully dodging is pretty low. And that is if Spike even can dodge... If Chara is fully awaked, swinging their knife might be enough to destroy to timeline on it's own.

If you don't have a pure heart, you get one shotted. I mean, chara is the sort of character to just literally attack at the very first opportunity, charging recklessly just to get the first hit off, even when they definitely don't need to, as seen with Asgore...

Actually he let Asgore talk for quite a bit...

Spike does have quite a range advantage compared to Chara

Oh?

Is it a soul hax or something? When you talked about his power causing explosions in a monk's hearth, I has gotten the impression that Spike used primarily physical attacks...

Who was the most powerful being that Spike killed with this ability?

Actually he let Asgore talk for quite a bit...

He didn't even let Asgore finish his sentence... The King of all Monsters didn't even realize what was happening before he was sliced. And you need to realize, Chara had a significant history with Asgore... Asgore had been their father figure and it is Asgore's words which represent chara's determination during the game over screen. This was Chara's "final battle", yet Chara was so impatient that they never even gave Asgore enough time to finish speaking...

Whatever the case, I just wanted to say; Chara isn't one of those cocky godlike figures who lets their opponents get the first hit off...

Fully Awakened Chara managed to destroy the timeline with a slice of their knife, I'd argue that gives them universal range by default. Chara probably doesn't need to move or even aim... The side effects of them making an attack would probably cause a win here...

Ah, using his devilmite beam, the heart does explode based on the sins or even petty bad behavior, considering how much sins Chara committed...

Who was the most powerful being that Spike killed with this ability?

That is actually unknow He didn't even let Asgore finish his sentence... The King of all Monsters didn't even realize what was happening before he was sliced. He continued for a while, I believe he talked for like two sentences, then theres the fact that everyone else he fights also talks for a while

Whatever the case, I just wanted to say; Chara isn't one of those cocky godlike figures who lets their opponents get the first hit off...

Niether would be a bloodlusted Spike Fully Awakened Chara managed to destroy the timeline with a slice of their knife, I'd argue that gives them universal range by default. i remember reading somewhere that his hax wont work on someone if the powergap is like that of him vs frieza (namek saga)

that seems to be the case with quite a bit of non godly ki dbz hax

Where? That's a bit strange, in some of the games there was a what if which consisted in Akkuman killing Mecha Freezer and King Cold when they arrived on Earth, so it has always been portrayed as an OHKO for everyone whose hearth/soul is not pure.

Besides, Spike's attack takes a while to charge and is really telegraphed. Chara would easily dodge.

that power gap thing was translated by an mvc member when someone brought a japanese dbz poster

good uck finding it among all the mess in mvc :)

Obviously physical, but I mean at which point in time? Their stats are pretty variable depending on that.
Hmmm, how about when he was fighting Undyne the Undying?

Then probably Chara. They'd likely gotten used to Frisk's body enough by that point that they'd be able to dodge anything Spike throws at them, and they'd only need even the most casual blow for the kill.

Spike's speed was superior to Yamcha but this doesn't count as speed is equalized this fight.

Both are bloodlusted so it's out of the question that Chara will let Spike talk and try and attack instantly, Spike may use either the trident or devilmite beam if he is bloodlusted so there are two possibilites

one: Spike will go for the trident and fall, this Chara was apparently from the battle with Undyne so there is no doubt it would be her undying form.. a stronger variation of Undyne who was capable of tanking a jump from a tall ledge in her base.

two: Spike will most likely go for the devilmite beam, now you may argue that Chara won't take much from the 'Karmic Retribution' of Spike here's Master Roshi's description of the devilmite beam: It is a force of unimaginable evil, that had destroyed more lives than any war or pestilence combined. Long ago there was a mighty-but-compassionate warrior. His power was beyond measure, yet many foolish upstarts tried to destroy him, in hopes of making a name for themselves. They were all unsuccessful, until one day, the Devilman appeared. Knowing he could not compete against the warrior's strength, the Devilman attacked using his mind. He discovered he could exploit his opponent's negative thoughts, no matter how faint, and convert them into an energy beam of immense power, the Devilmite Beam (Akkumaito Kousen). the devilmite beam basically latches onto even the smallest of dark thoughts and expands them into the targets heart, making it explode. the only use of this beam we saw was on Goku who was pure of heart thus making this attack useless and I don't know about you but a bloodlusted genocidal maniac ain't pure of heart to me.

so this battle will basically depend if Spike's capable of dodging Chara's first attack and firing a devilmite beam before the second strike

though if Chara can still fight even after losing their heart Spike is done for
