So, I made this Blog Post:

It's a Respect / Analysis Blog for Castlevania, proposing massive revisions for the entire series.

Basically, most characters will become Universe level+, and the strongest will be Multi-Universe level.

There will be also numerous additions to powers and expanded explanations, and I plan on remaking all of the profiles.

This thread is for people who have doubts, and for the revisions to be discussed as they are applied.
 
Wow, that's quite an upgrade. Anyway, looks really good to me.
 
I haven't had the time to read through the entire blog, but if the rest of the staff agree, I am fine with this.

Seriously i have the biggest smile on my face after looking at that Dracula profile. Castlevania getting the respect it deserves (Now if only Konami would revive this series).
 
Considering that Koji Igarashi has left Konami years ago, and that the series has been rebooted with the Lords of Shadows games, I personally doubt that the original series will ever be continued. And even if it is, it won't be the same as before.

However, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is being developed, and that's IGA's spiritual succesor.
 
I also see no real issues with the changes. There's a lot to back up the Tier 3/2 ratings.

Kind of a shame in a way, Moon level Castlevania is just so fitting.
 
I vaguely recall that Netflix will feature a very gory animated Castlevania series, but I may misremember.

They are making an Animated Series based on Castlevania III, and depending on the success they may adapt other games.

Another parallel universe to add to the franchise, I guess.
 
Without looking at the blog ( I definitely will in a minute ) ... Doesn't Soma scale to Dracula, i mean he was his direct reincarnation, and if not, is there anything that points to him being far weaker ?
 
@Seed Soma > Dracula, and it is stated that Dracula becomes stronger with each incarnation. Soma has good feats, too, because he beat Chaos and Menace. The former is the root of Dracula's power and the latter destroyed the six universes of Abyss upon its death.
 
..... Dear God... I am okay with this. I haven't played any of the games, but i like all of the characters. I... think i have some future verse battles ideas brewing in my head.
 
Oh Matthew, that is a very nice blog you have. But i do have a question about the Sky Fish : How and Who exactly would that scale , if we were to take it seriously ?
 
Universal Johnathan and Charlotte? I'm down with that. :D Since Soma's the strongest protangonist, I'm guessing he's 2-C.....

I'm still going to be remaking plenty of the profiles, adding clarifications, galleries, abilities and all, but that already helps me a lot!
 
Whether Chaos is equal or comparable.....I believe it's roughly the same thing and it makes you valid to scale either way.
 
@Freeman Huh? Germain also on verse page. I'm the one who fix verse page at all. The pages that don't list on verse page are only God and Persephone, which Matt create them later.
 
I agree with Dino Black. However, I think they are equal . However, I can always be wrong. But, Soma scaling to someone whose comparable and or equal to God, wouldn't he be At least 2-C , likely higher ?
 
Can anyone render two pictures of Dracula for me? Those are the last two I need to complete the Tabber.
