can you destroy something without the destruction/explosion/energy expanding?

what i'm saying is can you destroy, let's say a multiverse, without it having to expand.

like generating an explosion that destroys all of multiverse without the explosion, where it's detonating, having to expand/spread itself in order to destroy the multiverse.

because i noticed a lot of destruction attacks don't destroy everything all at once, they have to expand/spread if they want to destroy it.

but is it possible to destroy everything in an instant without any expansion necessary.
