Calc Request Services?

This is just a question for staff members, if you were to create a type of service system for calc requests, how would you set that up? Like if you hypothetically decide to do a monetization

Would it be sort of like level of complexity of calculating a feat, the type of series you are familiar with or accessibility to the source material? like:
  1. small feat $5 (Series well familiar with, visually displayed panels)
  2. normal feat $10 (Series not aware of, requires more in-depth information, complex calculations)
  3. major feat $15 (Series not aware of, it is narrative and would require access to source material)
Thoughts?

This is a hobbyist site. Generally speaking, we do what we do for the fun of it. Charging people for calcs will turn this into a service, and hence, not fun. Plus, some of us might have to write our earnings in our taxes and nobody is ready for that.

I see, well I have to pay taxes anyway, it is for a website I am making and making money so as to make donations to charitable organizations. To turn something I enjoy into something good nature for others

I wouldn't want this, no, though I'm sure you can find someone on this site who would do basic math for you if you paid them.

The issue that arises is twofold for me. Firstly, as mentioned, it adds a serious connotation to a simple hobby. It would suck the enjoyment right out. Secondly, and I feel this is the bigger one, I feel as though this will lead to situations in which CGMs are coerced to get a certain outcome from a calc. "Get a value this high and I'll pay extra", etc. It sounds ridiculous but I know for a fact people would do it. People have already tried to do it to me.

So yeah hard against an idea like this.

yeah, I guess so, I mean, trying to find a sure way to do a stable monetization for donations of some of the makings, I had a feeling that doing a service with calc requests would be a little uneventful, otherwise I would try the ads system for my site or doing sponsorships or do sponsor based blog posts, but thank you for your thoughts.
