Regarding the VEI 8 volcaninc calc is it fine if I now alter the pages? Everyone else had already agreed to a High 6-C level so even if the calc is different then it should be fine right?Lina Shields said:m^3 means cubic metres.
m^-3 means you are diving a number by cubic metres. So this would mean that if...
- X = 1
- Volume = m^3
- Divide X by volume, and you gave a value of 1/(m^3) or 1 m^-3
What about the new calc?Lina Shields said:I think I have stated this before, but I never gave my approval on that High 6-C calculation, as the logic behind the calculation is wrong (There was no mention of a crater being formed in that page).
