could someone possibly Calc how much energy it would require to split the earth in half.. Like how Toneri cut the moon in half but replace the moon with Earth.

That's only that high because the Kinetic Energy was really high.

There's a more universal calc for this feat that's Small Planet level iirc.

This would largely depend on how much the two halfs seperate from each other.

IIRC it is exactly the GBE (aka planet level) if the two halfs just continue drifting away from each other forever.

Aside from that one could also calculate the energy needed to make the cut itself, but that largely depends on how sharp the blade was and is in most cases a lot smaller than the energy got from calculating the halfs seperating.

So in general there is no value for that.

lets say the character is moving at MHS+ to low sub res speeds, and creates a huge ass laser beam sword or something and swings it down cutting the earth in half... the earth slow drifts apart from each side, it takes around 3 to 4 min for this to start/
