Clash! Super Sonic vs Brutus - Full Fight

Why does Brutus scale to Super Sonic?
In his AP it's listed that some of his weapons can damage him, but Brutus doesn't land a single hit to Super Sonic in the entire fight except with his doom foam, which is only to slow him down...and he breaks free soon thereafter

Also, his durability says that Super Sonic was barely able to harm, even though after Super lands the first hit, Brutus becomes scared of him and tries to use Amy as an hostage, that doesn't seem a reaction of someone who easily tanked a hit

A lot of people managed to survive blows from Super Sonic and get up immediately soon thereafter (who aren't robots), it usually means Super is holding back to making them suffer longer

I'm ok with the MFTL+ reaction, since he did managed to react to Super

I'm not that knowledgeble about Sonic: The Comic, but i know the Brutus can stomp base Sonic, but is weaker than Super Sonic.

I probably need to find the other Brutus arc to find something notable, but his stats should change to "At least City level(easily defeated Sonic before he transformed)"

From what I see, you're right. Brutus probably shouldn't scale if he didn't really do any notable damage to him.

I believe Numbers was the guy who made the STC profiles, so you could ask him.

His durability does scale tho, I mean he took the hit and didn't explode. Plus, Super Sonic wasn't screwing around with Brutus

His ap should be not that far below his dura if he survived a hit from Super Sonic.

I still feel iffy about his durability (since he became scared after Super landed the first hit and went for an hostage, doesn't seem like he was actually able to take many hits)

Though I guess Megatal does get hyped as inestructible in universe so I guess it makes sense it can withstand a single hit from Super Sonic

So I been re checking the issues Brutus is in to see how he scales in comparasion to the other characters (since his fight with Super is the only thing he seems to be scaled to)

One thing I point out for now is that his speed is actually wrong, he doesn't blitz base Sonic, in fact in his first fight with Sonic he's slower than the blue blur (he's surprised when Sonic does a cyclone around him and then Sonic proceeds to trip him up with his cape)

In fact, it's after that fight with Super that he loses his arm, he replaces it with a blaster that can keep up with his speed...but again, only the blaster, no mention of Brutus himself keeping up with him

Also, Sonic managed to take blows from Brutus and even stagger him with his spin attacks, so It doesn't seem like the gap is too big

Also, in the "robotnik reigns supreme" arc, once Brutus cames in contact with plasma (a being composed by pure energy...or electricity apparently), he burst into pieces, so that could count as a possible weakness
