Blood Hawk (Dungeons and Dragons) vs Dodo (ARK: Survival Evolved) [4-0-0]

I think Blood Hawk will take this battle rather easily. Besides having better range than the dodo, the hawk can fly to avoid the dodo's attacks. The extra bleed from the blood hawk would also whittle the other bird's stamina down slowly, after dealing significant damage with its dagger-like beak and talons. While the dodo's stamina is impressive, the blood hawk can fight even when crippled or almost dying, but that won't happen in this matchup. And what's possibly stopping the hawk from whisking the dodo into the air?

The bleeding isn't gonna be much of a problem given the Dodo's stamina and regen but the Dodo is probably smarter than the Blood Hawk, at least going by their profiles, so maybe it can come up with something to catch the flyer off-guard somewhat.

Dodo's regen would help but looking at the profile itself, the regen would not be as fast as it can bleed, and with the extra bleed the blood hawk gives, it's going to be harder for the other bird. Stamina is high, but that's probably the only thing keeping it alive longer in this matchup.
Smarter, but probably not as skilled a fighter as the hawk. The hawk would probably start off with a stealth attack, catching the dodo off guard first. And because of the flying and the higher range, the dodo might not have the opportunity to outsmart the hawk as often as it would like to. The one big moment the dodo can do that might be when it's carried away in the hawk's talons, so there's that.
Since the dodo only has its beak to fight with, the hawk could grab its neck with its talons to inhibit its ability to attack, then go to town gaining free hits on him.

I actually don't see any way out for the dodo aside from delaying its death.
The BH is stronger in both AP and LS, has more and fiercer weapons, is more adept at combat out of skill abilities and seemingly natural behavior (predator vs prey), and seems more determined to fight. Bleeding also doesn't have to be underestimated, especially not knowing how long it takes for the dodo to heal, but it will also be attacked fiercely and relentlessly from what I see.
