(Bleach) Kisuke's Bankai Abilities?

I am trying to understand fully what Kusuke's bankai as known abilities is, it is stated to be the power to reconstruct things, from what I seen it has three types of abilities with some associations.

1. Body Part Control (cutting apart pieces of the body for either offense, support such as cutting up and reattaching to enhance strength or putting things back together for healing)
2. Thread Manipulation (Kisuke achieves his capabilities with strings)
3. I don't get the last part with creating an opening in a barrier or something.

Can I get thoughts on that or at least the last part?

Lastly, he created a path to move through obstacles or barriers. So he allowed others to go through it yk.
